We booked only the day before arrival at Le Corbier. The owner Cyril was very rapid and friendly in response to our booking. Warm greeting at the apartment door by owners representative who showed us around the spotless apartment. Apartment had a lived in feeling which made us very comfortable. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains from windows and this is a ski from the apartment block door. There’s everything you would need for a week or two stay here. We would certainly stay at Au pied des pistes Le Corbier in future.

No negatives

Perfect location, especially if you put your child(ren) in Club Piou Piou, the jardin d'enfants is just opposite the building. Otherwise few minutes walk to the main ski lifts. Apartment definitely above standards comparing to the similar French ski resorts. All the buildings in Le Corbier are connected via a corridor, so you can walk between them while still being "inside". There is Casino food market and boucherie and restaurant and sport shop in the same building, very handy! Please note that building is split into Vanguard and Soyouz parts, and while the apartment is located in Vanguard, the cupboard to store your skis is in Soyouz (no complication at all, it is just on the other side from the lifts).

Weak wi-fi signal, did not work very well. Not enough space where to put our things. (This has nothing to do with the appartment, but be prepared for the parking nightmare - there is simply not enough parking places for all the cars coming, especially not in winter when many parking spaces are blocked by snow. So either you are super lucky to get a space close to the accommodation, or you will end up quickly throwing your things from and to the car while having your car on the emergency ligths, and then up parking at the side of the road a the end of the village.)
