KOKO HOTEL Akabane Station

KOKO HOTEL Akabane is a great place to stay if you want to explore Japan! The location is excellent, with the train station just across the street, making it easy and convenient to travel around Tokyo and beyond. The neighborhood has everything you need, including shopping malls, plenty of restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. On the other side of the station, you’ll find lively izakayas and a Don Quijote that’s open 24 hours, perfect for late-night shopping and midnight snack runs! There’s also a Lawson convenience store right beside the hotel, which is another big plus. The hotel staff are professional, polite, and accommodating. I also appreciate the self-service personal amenities, which allow guests to take whatever they need. There’s a vending machine with drinks available from noon, as well as a snack bar with chips and candies where guests can sit and enjoy their snacks in the restaurant area. Another great perk is that the hotel allows you to leave your luggage even after checking out, which is very helpful if you still have time to explore before heading to the airport or your next destination. Fresh towels are also provided daily. The room was decent and comfortable for our stay, although there was a little dust and some small mold spots on the ceiling. Aside from these minor cleanliness issues, everything else was great. Overall, I had a pleasant stay! The fantastic location, convenient amenities, and professional staff made the experience worthwhile. With the train station just across the street and plenty of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores nearby, KOKO HOTEL Akabane is a great base for exploring Tokyo and beyond!

Nice place to stay in Tokyo. Area is near to train station , grocery bus station..

My room was small, but somehow they managed to fit everything I needed without making it feel uncomfortable. Every bit of space was used intelligently and efficiently — I’d honestly call it a little engineering masterpiece. Everything was clean, practical, and well thought out. A great stay overall and definitely deserving of 5 stars.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth. During checkin, they asked for an additional ¥100, which I believe was for the tax. Since I arrived earlier than the checkin time, they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel. They also have a weighing scale available, although you need to ask the staff if you want to use it. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 2 to 3 minute walk from the station. During my stay, there was a fairly strong earthquake, and I could feel the building swaying. Despite that, the building felt sturdy and secure, which was reassuring.
