Il Sole del Sodo is a little paradise nestled in a hamlet in the Tuscan countryside just waiting to welcome, accommodate and amaze. You enter by opening the wrought-iron gate and the coolness of the stone, the plants, flowers and sofas or the antiques around the garden will immediately give you that 'Home away from Home' feeling.

The villa is only 5 minutes by car from the historic centre of Cortona, less than an hour's drive to Siena and the Val d'Orcia, Montepulciano, Lake Trasimeno only 15 minutes away, Perugia, Arezzo, Assisi and Florence just over an hour.
From the entrance door, on the left-hand side there is access to the sitting room with fireplace while on the right-hand side there is access to the Sala della Pastaia whose name derives from an old piece of furniture which today contains various objects but which was used to dry pasta! Today it is a large and spacious dining room where guests can spend moments of convivial serenity Also on the ground floor is a new and comfortable kitchen equipped with everything a good chef would wish to have as tools of the trade.A staircase made of pietra serena, typical of the Cortona area, leads to the first floor where the sleeping area is accessed. Each room has been created following a different theme that differentiates them from one another. At the back of the house, surrounded by greenery and olive trees, is the private swimming pool. Sheltered from prying eyes and not visible from the entrance, the particular position chosen guarantees plenty of sunshine, peace and intimacy. The flooring used for the exterior is teak, which does not heat up in the sun and allows you to walk barefoot or sit on the edge or on the ground without the danger of getting burnt.
