About this house rental
DEAR GUEST! PLEASE FOLLOW THE HOUSE RULES:
-If you book the house, you must stay unless you have discussed this in past with us and you will be personally responsible for the house.
-This Property is in deed-restricted Homeowner association and most HOA don’t like short-term rental places (Air B and B /VRBO) therefore we don’t want to rent and get red-flagged by HOA therefore help me by following the instructions.
-NO Random invites without prior permission.
-NO Throwing party or Parties.
-NO Loud music inside or outside, please respect our neighbors and if we get a complaint from neighbors, we will have to cancel the reservation and ask you to leave.
-No hanging out outside the front door
-Don’t just leave the front door open, we have nosey neighbors who will call the police just to harass you and me.
-NO smoking inside the house or front of the house. We allow smoking in the back of the house area and at least 5 feet away from the door.
-NO Pets without prior permission.
-upon check out, please follow all checkout instructions list.
-If you have more people staying at the house than listed on the reservation, you will lose your deposit.
-Anything missing upon Inventory upon check out.
-Missing garage door remote.
-Late Checkout without prior approval.
-Don’t have anything shipped to the house without prior permission.
-We provide make-up wipes/removers, please do not use towels as the towels get stained and we cannot use them for the next guest.
-Make-up stains on pillowcases/bed sheets and comforters.
-Don’t use towels or wash clothes to clean or wipe down your shoes.

The house was super clean, all amenities provided by owner, location of the the house resemblance of where I used to grow up in Detroit (nothing bad, just more of run down). The location was actually great for us as it's about 12 min from Vietnamese downtown, which we visited daily while in town.
The only negative are the sinks being too tall for all of us, I'm 5.5ft short and had to use provided stool while brushing my teeth (felt like a 5 years old kid), you have to be 6.5ft to be able to use the sinks properly.
There was an overflow of drainage from the AC unit which caused the water flow out to the bottom of the staircase case. I texted owner and the problem was taken care of within a few hr.

Property was very nice. Recently completely remodeled. Stayed two weeks. Found many great restaurants nearby. Unit was quiet. Owner was easy to contact for any questions we had.

This property was nice on the inside. Some of the remotes and TVs did not work properly. Parking was horrible. They have a 1 car garage but it was always blocked so we only park in the garage twice and we stayed 9 days. I called the manager they got the car blocking the garage moved but they blocked the garage the rest of the time we were there. The outside needs some work and cleaning. The area is not the best area to stay in. The manager was very nice and tried to fix the TVs upstaris but one tv and remote still didn't work. It needs a new shower head in the shower upstairs because water leaked out under the shower door. We kept a towel by the door to prevent water damage. The bathrooms needed a good cleaning. The sinks in the upstairs bathroom are so tall you can't properly use them. They need to lower the vanity holding the sinks. Some of the chairs had brojen wobbly legs and someone could get hurt if they sat in one of the broken chairs. I will not stay here again for these reasons.
