Great location in the countryside near Modena. Very quiet and quaint. We had a very clean, very spacious room and bathroom. It is near many amenities and restaurants. Guido taught us, upon request, about the balsamic vinegar making process. A real labour of love.

The apartment was clean, quiet, spacious, and was perfect for our family of four. The apartment is located on a small balsamic vineyard, a convenient 15 minute drive from the Modena city center, so it’s best if you have a car (they even have ample parking). The host was extremely friendly and generous. He gave us a personal tour of his balsamic vinegar distillery where we got to see the passion and patience in his balsamic making process, learned about different types, and tasted different ages of balsamic. He and his wife then cooked us a home made meal using fresh local ingredients. It was absolutely delicious, and we loved getting to meet the whole family! I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique personal experience of Italian hospitality in a lovely location!
