About this apartment rental
This two level 2 bedroom+sleeping loft/2 bath condo is in a 13 unit beachfront complex just south of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Condo A4 has a porch and a balcony overlooking the pool & the beach with a fabulous view of the Belize Barrier Reef!
On the condo's ground floor there's the porch plus a bedroom with king bed, a full bathroom, full kitchen (no dishwasher), and living/dining area with queen sleeper sofa. On the 2nd floor, there's a bedroom with a king bed, a full bathroom, a loft area with 2 twin beds, and the veranda overlooking the pool and the sea.

Sunset Beach Resort is located 2.5 miles/4 km south of the town core, which means you are away from the crowds yet still within easy reach of everything. In the neighborhood we have:
--Suya Tour operator (1 minute walk)
--Marin’s, a small grocery store (2 minute walk)
--A few good restaurants (2-15 minute walk)
And there are more shopping, restaurant & entertainment options on the way to & in town, which is not far away!
The Belize Barrier Reef, the longest in the western hemisphere, is very close to shore making the area ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing; other water sports are also popular!
It's easy to take a day trip to the mainland to visit Maya sites such as Altun Ha and Lamanai; or to observe some of the 500 species of birds found in Belize and/or catch a glimpse of monkeys, manatees and crocodiles in the wild!

An onsite staff person will meet you for check-in & to provide you with a key; we will need to know your island arrival plans (& would be happy to help with the logistics!) in advance in order to facilitate this.

No question we will go back to Ambergris, and use Sunset Beach. Property is well maintained, everyone very helpful and knows the area well and willing to share. Would highly recommend Sunset Beach, you will not be disappointed.

This property and our unit we stayed in was more than I expected. The property is very well maintained and clean. The condo was clean, nice décor and spacious.
Barbara and Rosa were very helpful with scheduling our flights to and from San Pedro, taxi to the resort, and with setting up our tours and golf cart rental.
The only problem was the TV upstairs in the bedroom has a black line down the center of the screen which made it difficult to watch. I emailed Rosa about the problem. She forwarded the email to someone else and no one followed up on it. Other than that, I will be back and will rent one of the condos again.
The resort is close enough to town, yet far enough away from town for peace and quiet..
