Up to 4 persons with extra bed in the living room up to 6 persons The idyllic Baltic Sea resort Laboe (about 5500 inhabitants) is picturesquely located at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern shore. The former fishing village has become a popular holiday and seaside resort. Laboe is an ancient place and was mentioned for the first time in 1240. The name Laboe derives from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "Schwanenort". And even today, the Swan is Labo's shield. The long, fine sandy beach falls very flat to the fjord, so it is especially recommended for families with small children. Directly on the beach promenade is the water park. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the most frequented waterways in the world, in front of the doorstep, the "Strandleben" offers a special attraction also for "Sehleute", which can observe the passing ships abundantly. The panorama of Laboe is surmounted by the world-famous 85 m high naval monument. This memorial reminds of the fate of all the people who remained at sea, and is said to commemorate a peaceful sea voyage on the open seas. From above, the visitor has a wonderful view over the fjord and the Baltic Sea in clear weather. At the foot of the memorial has been the submarine U 995 for several years as a technical museum. The Kinofilm "Das Boot" plays on a submarine, which belongs to the famous class VII C as well as U 995. A visit to U995 provides an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness of the submarine men. The Kiel Fjord is known as the "Sailmekka" ("Kieler Woche"). In the immediate vicinity lie the Danish islands Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Sea". Exhausted sailors will find rest and relaxation in the Laboer marina.

Wirklich hübsche, gepflegte Wohnung in bester Lage mit tollem Ausblick.
Das Doppelbett könnte ggf. mal ein paar neue Schrauben gebrauchen, von dem Quietschen wird man Nachts schon mal wach.
Ansonsten vollumfängliche Weiterempfehlung!

Wir besuchen schon seit Jahren Laboe und haben immer eine Ferienwohnung beim Appartement-Service-Laboe gebucht. Dort stimmt einfach alles, der Service, die Freundlichkeit und die Wohnungen sind immer in einem sehr guten Zustand. Wir werden auch in diesem Jahr mindestens noch einmal einen Urlaub in Laboe verbringen und natürlich auch dann wieder eine Ferienwohnung hier mieten.

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung die auch hält was im Internet versprochen wird. 2 schöne geräumige Balkone der hintere mit Morgensonne der zur Seeseite hat ab Mittag die Sonne- Wunderschöner Ausblick auf die Förde. Eine schöne große Küche mit angrenzendem Wohnzimmer Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist das etwas kleine Bad und die Dusche. Alles in allem eine Wohnung die man ruhig weiterempfehlen kann. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber.
