Location is fantastic!
Collection of keys in Nelson Bay is frustrating when you're traveling from far, and need to go further to the office even after all of the identification process and deposit payment has been completed online. Also the drop off of keys back to the drop box in the office is frustrating on the morning of departure.

The location is unparalleled- right on the water on the more sheltered side of the point.
Some of the furniture and kitchen stuff is a bit tired. But I suppose the apartment is used predominantly by young families and is not an exclusive couples retreat where you would expect a different ambience.

the size and layout of the unit was great for our requirements, location lovely and quiet, outside area great with access to lovely coastal walk. We used the beach a lot with the kids.
Two chairs broken in the dining room, one extremely dangerous, all utensils and crockery were dirty and we had to use dish washer before we could use. Collecting the key from the real estate is a very ancient way to do business and was a pain having to go to the very busy Nelson Bay area. Unit was not overly clean but the bathrooms had obviously been cleaned.
