Air conditioner was all over the place, not working properly and lots of wifi outages

House is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. Absolutely stunning would recommend

Bathroom didn’t have enough towel racks/hooks for the amount of bedrooms/people staying

Spacious, open plan, comfortable, good central location.

Power cut on Wednesday evening, 2 candles provided only. Family of 5 (3 teens) living with no fridge (food and fishing bait spoiled), no tv, light, music, way of charging phones, tv, hot water also stopped working. Told quite rudely by McGrath staff it was ‘beyond their control’ and no effort was made to help or ease the situation. Left on Friday in the end as it was no fun. This was a treat after no holiday for a long time so was very disappointing and upsetting there was no refund or even a good will gesture. Also, no cheese grater, poor quality vacuum cleaner, outside areas could be nicer, very dusty under sideboard in main bedroom.

The inside of the house was spacious. Two bathrooms and two toilets are a bonus. The location is close to the marina and surrounding neighbourhoods.

There were a number of unsatisfactory things with the property. No shaded sails for your vehicle behind the gate as shown on photos online. Considering that it's a pet friendly property, the whole backyard grassed area was covered in bindis which my dog couldn't use. Even the grass patches out the front of the property. There's mould on every window in the house. The window sills were filthy and covered in a build up of dead insects and dirt. All the blinds need cleaning as they are filthy and contain a black coating of dust and mould. A couple of the blinds in two bedrooms (king and queen bedrooms) are faulty. Light bulbs need replacing in each room. There's two white leather couches that contain mould on them. A pillow in the king room is covered in mould too. The fan in the queen bedroom is quite dangerous. Not all the settings are working, only the high speed is working and it's wobbly when on, the lights actually move in a circle, almost as if they were going to fall down on the person below. A couple of the backyard lights need replacing as they don't work. Theres no information or photos online mentioning of any stairs to access the backyard. There's actually two sets of stairs cases with a total of 27 stairs and I didn't feel safe using them. They are old and wobbly. All the railings are old and rusty. The backyard itself needs maintenance as you can clearly see it has not been for quite some time. It also contains quite a large amount of a plant called the wandering dew which is quite harmful to animals internally and externally, it can affect humans too. The house itself needs a thorough spring clean, it's obvious it has been a while since.
