Old building, renovated to be modern , walking distance from the center

Lovely little stone cottage, completely and tastefully refurbished inside. All ground floor is open plan, to include fully equipped kitchen/living area. Open staircase to bedrooms/WC/shower room on 1st floor. Very nice decor. Situated off road amongst other traditional properties - even a stone built well in the courtyard. Parking is free on the road adjacent to the entrance to the property. Within easy walk to centre, passing a couple of patisserie where you can pick up early morning croissants/baguettes as well as delicious pastries. A little further on you arrive at the port and realise what a large part the seafood plays in local life. Oyster beds in Cancale are vast!! 45 minute drive to Mont St Michel is well worth an excursion. Lovely warm welcome from our host, who was very patient with us, as regrettably our knowledge of the French language is not as good as it should be (we are from Wales). Welcome gift, in the form of a bottle of local cider - very kind. Very quiet area, really enjoyed our stay.

Would have liked the property to have had a view to enjoy, but realise that this is a traditional, stone built, cottage that, when constructed, only had small windows on ground floor. Very light upstairs, however, with modern Velux type windows. A minor point, but one I felt I had to mention in a review.

séjour très agréable : très belle ville et logement parfaitement adapté.

un accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire qui avait mis en place beaucoup d'attentions que nous avons appréciées. Il s'est montré arrangeant, répond vite quand on le contacte...Logement très propre, très bien équipé, comme à la maison, on n'a manqué de rien. le logement est cosy, on s'y sent bien. La situation géographique est parfaite : en plein centre ville, accès mer à pied, accès port et toutes ses animations à pied sans être dans la foule du port. C'est parfait pour nous. et proche en voiture de beaucoup de très jolies villes à découvrir : Dinard, Dinan, Saint Suliac, Saint Malo... c'est vraiment l'endroit parfait pour nous pour passer du temps dans cette belle Bretagne ! Merci Léon :)

vraiment rien tout était parfait. J'aurai juste une suggestion : mettre des rideaux aux fenêtres du salon :)

Le charme de l'ancien le confort d'aujourd'hui

Vieille maison avec tout le confort. Très bien située. Proche de centre-ville et de tous les commerces essentiels. 20 minutes à pied pour aller au port de la houle. Très calme

Séjour au top, nous aurions aimé prolongé mais nous étions attendus ailleurs.

Emplacement parfait en plein centre ville, bord de mer à 10/15 minutes à pied. Tout les équipements ménagers nécessaires sont disponibles. Chambres spacieuses et elles aussi bien équipées. Hôte très gentil et disponible. Cancale est une très jolie ville.

Il peut être difficile de se garer à proximité immédiate, mais ce n'est en aucun cas de la faute de l'hôte.

Des vieilles pierres qui enchantent...

Situation centrale à Cancale, les commerces sont à la porte. Le calme est idéal. Cette maison construite en pierres dans le style breton avec des murs d'une importance impressionnante bénéficie d'un intérieur entièrement rénové. Tout est conçu pour que chacun s'y trouve à l'aise. Il y a même un puits à l'extérieur, ainsi qu'un petit coin privatif avec table, chaises, lavabo et même un WC.

Seul problème, comme souvent en ville, des difficultés de stationner, mais tous les emplacements sont gratuits. Il faut parfois tourner pour trouver sa place, car toutes les rues sont en sens unique.
