En Rouger, Le Lavande gîte (2 bedrooms, air conditioned, heated pool, sauna)

Close to 'Canal du Midi' and Labastide d'Anjou village,the 'En Rouger' 3 stars certified gite complex is situated in the Aude region of Languedoc Roussillon in South West France, midway between Carcassonne and Toulouse, and approximately one hour from the Mediterranean beaches and the Pyrenees mountain. En Rouger was originally a working farm and is nearly 200 years old. It has been fully renovated to a high standard and now equipped with modern furniture and air conditioning. There are four gites in total, one with 3 or 4 bedrooms, the others with 2 bedrooms. A 1.5 Acres Peaceful park with Large Heated Pool ( 12 x7 meters ) provides a relax holiday environment. In addition for olders, a sauna for up to 5 people with its own shower, is available on selected hours.
There is a covered barbecue patio with charcoal barbecue.
Each gite has its own outside area with table, chairs and large parasol.
The gites are set together overlooking the pool and gardens which provide a tranquil setting in which you can relax. The attractive heated swimming pool has a beach-type entrance which is perfect for smaller children and is fenced in accordance with French safety regulations. The pool is surrounded by trees which provide dappled shade for the sun loungers when you want to avoid direct sunlight. The large park is surrounded by sunflower and wheat fields and contain a selection of outdoor toys for toddlers. There are also swings and a sandpit. For older children (and adults!) there is a table tennis table, a trampoline, a basketball hoop, bicycles, a badminton set and ball games.

GITE " Le LAVANDE" : 2 bedroom gite ( sleeps 4 )
This 2 story gite has a double bedroom, another bedroom with 2 single beds and a shower room with toilet on the first floor. The living accommodation and an additional toilet are on the ground floor. With a sofa bed downstairs, it will sleep up to 5 people.
This gîte is equipped with :
Free WIFI, Air Conditioning, Dishwasher ,Washing machines, Microwaves, full sized cookers with oven, Toasters, kettle, Radio/CD players, DVD players, Television , Linen , towels optional (but no beach/pool towels), hairdryer, iron....
For our younger visitors, we can provide various items of equipment, including cots (but please bring your baby's cot bedding), highchairs, a bedguard, baby bath, stairgates (on request) etc. We also have a good supply of toys and some childrens' DVDs. The gites also each have lots of books for holiday reading for adults and older children.
