The lovely three-room apartment is located on the 2nd floor and has a wood-burning stove, which provides the characteristic warm atmosphere of the mountain houses. Enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and forests! The narrow valley of Valsavarenche is surrounded by wooded slopes in the Gran Paradiso National Park, ideal for organizing beautiful nature walks. Among the many famous climbing activities of the area, you can dare to climb to the top of Gran Paradiso, but there are also very many trails that allow easy walks or hikes. The ski area Valsavaranche is particularly suitable for beginners and families with children. The ski slopes are only 2 km away. There are cross-country ski slopes for every level of difficulty: 17 km of long slopes, from easy to intermediate, in Degioz Valsavarenche (2 km) and 6 km of racing ski slopes in Pont (8 km). Other well-known ski resorts are Courmayeur (42 km) and La Thuille (49 km). The Val d'Aosta region is also rich in art and culture: Aosta (30 km) hosts, for example, Roman and Romanesque monuments and numerous castles characterize the landscape of the Aosta Valley. Among the most important to visit: Fenis (68 km), Issongne (71 km), Verres (69 km), Sarre (26 km) and Bard (77 km). The oenogastronomy is rich in exquisite DOP products, such as the Lardo of Arnad (bacon) and the Fontina cheese. About 37 km away is Pre Saint Didier with its thermal baths and SPAs, ideal for a day of relaxation. Turin, the first capital of Italy, is 147 km away. Here there is a rich choice of monuments and museums: for example the world famous Egyptian Museum and the Palace of Venaria Reale.
