Calm and balcony

This apartment lets you experience a typical Romanian flat. It is spacious enough, clean and has a balcony where you can enjoy your meals end views over the city, surrounding hills and (partly) the Hunyadi castle. The neighbourhood feels very calm and safe. If you travel by bus, it is ideal, because of its proximity to the station. The French-speaking friend of the owner was very polite, he let us in the apartment earlier and offered drinks and snacks. An anti-mosquito appliance was a plus that let us sleep undisturbed (which was not the case elsewhere on our way).

There is just an electric cattle in the kitchen. There could be a cooking plate (as there is even gas installation) or a microwave.

Superb

The apartment is small and has almost anything you could need. The little fridge was filled with some drinks and snacks, which we could eat/drink from free of charge. We really loved the balcony, from which you get a great view on the mountains outside of the city and the sunset! It's a half an hour walk to the castle, so you can walk there earlier in the morning or even at night to see the night illumination

Finding the place was a bit complicated since the location isn't the right one. So we had to call the Romanian number, which was quite expensive for us. They explained us where to go, but the description didn't work out. So we had to call a couple more times, until they went to pick us up where we were (which was nice of course). It would have also been nice to have a microwave or little stove, but ok, if you don't stay for more than one night. They also arrived 30 minutes late for the check out, which was ok...just that they were quite strict about telling us the night before to be on time please.

Basic, but confortable

Everything you need, basic version, like a 90s home. Very nice staf, they let us stay as late as we needed on the last day. There's coffee, a water boiler, cups etc.
