Both master suite bathrooms were beautifully remodeled in January 2024. New pool deck boards were installed in September 2024, and a new whole-house HVAC system was installed in September 2025, ensuring comfort and reliability throughout your stay.

Unlike most second-row homes, 30 Knotts Way is actually closer to the beach than many oceanfront properties along Forest Beach Drive—including our direct oceanfront home at 11 Cassina Lane. Best of all, there are no streets to cross between the house and the sand, and the home is located within an exclusive gated community.
This beautifully appointed 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath coastal home offers approximately 4,700 square feet of luxurious living space. Perfect for large families or groups sharing vacation expenses, the home features two equally impressive king master suites, each with oversized en-suite bathrooms featuring dual vanities, jetted soaking tubs, walk-in showers, and abundant storage. Great house just steps from the beach. Masses of room to spread out. Rooms were a really good size. My only suggestion would be to add a few serving bowls and a bit more cutlery but that’s a small thing!

Our family group of ten greatly enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head at this rental! The house is spacious and comfortable, accommodating all of us and our two dogs with ease. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which gave everyone privacy. The pool and hot tub were clean and convenient. The kitchen was well supplied and the extra refrigerator in the tiki bar area was very useful. The provided beach towels were a huge convenience. The laundry machines are large and of high quality. Communication with the owner was seamless. Brian was very responsive when we needed anything or had a question. The Hilton Head beach is one of the best ever, so clean and wide and deep. The island’s beach crew comes through each night to spruce it up again for the next day. Taking walks and biking at low tide on the hard sand are a special memory. It was easy to access the beach area with the boardwalk. We were more than satisfied with this rental, the location on the island and the easy access to all that the Hilton Head area has to offer. We would love to return!

Positives: The access to the beach was convenient but we spent most of our time at the deck area. It is positioned to get maximum sun, which was great for using the pool and hot tub in October. The house was very large and there were only five of us, so everyone had lots of room.
Negatives: We found out after booking that the elevator wasn't in service. Do to health issues one of our criteria when choosing this property was the fact that it was handicap accessible with an elevator to all floors. We found out after booking that the elevator wasn't in service. The host offered us a refund, but we didn't want to start the search process all over since we were close to dates we chose. We have found that most high end beach homes with three floors of living space have elevators. Kitchen: Every cupboard was full and there was absolutely no place to put cereal boxes, snack bags etc. Everything that didn't require refrigeration had to sit on the counters.
Tiki Bar: This area would be fantastic if stocked with plastic glasses and bar items, but every cupboard was packed with old five gallon paint cans and other junk. Master Bath: There were lots of cracks in the floor and tub area. In conclusion, the house was spacious and convenient to stores, restaurants and the beach. The pool and hot tub were great, but the house itself is starting to show it's age.
