About this house rental
You will be seduced by this pretty house in the heart of the most famous French vineyards. Located 15 km from Duras, the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac at the foot of Château Blanchet, a large and beautiful early 19th century house that watches over its 13 ha vineyard. The house has 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs, each of which has a washbasin. A large terrace with barbecue and partially covered patio allows you to enjoy the hot summer days in comfort. The private pool without opposite is located directly in front of the house (you have to cross a small road with little traffic), you will appreciate the small covered summer kitchen. You are here on the borders of Gironde, Lot et Garonne and Dordogne, which offer a wide choice of landscapes and activities. You are 3 kilometres from Pellegrue, where you can stroll through one of the 8 bastides of the Gironde. In Monségur, you can enjoy the organ both at church services and at concerts open to the public. Here you will find shops and a cinema. Don't miss the Monségur Jazz Festival Les 24 heures du Swing every first week of July. You are at the gates of the greatest French vineyards (Pomerol, Saint Emilion, Graves ...) and have the opportunity to visit the vineyards of Bordeaux and enjoy amazing tastings. In Belves de Castillon (20 km), book an evening in summer to take part in the fabulous Battle of Castillon. At the foot of the Château Castegens, 600 volunteers take part in this historical evocation with great commitment (waterfalls and pyrotechnic effects take us back to the heart of the Middle Ages, between farms and inns, women at the fountain, harvest scenes, acrobats, tooth-pullers and street vendors). The discreet owners live next door and will be happy to share their secrets about the region.

Jolie maison fleurie, propre et spacieuse. Les propriétaires demeurent à côté mais sont très discrets. Tout est conforme à l'annonce (wifi opérationnel) et il ne manque rien. Bonne literie, linge de maison et toilette fourni. La maison garde la fraîcheur quand il fait chaud et l'espace piscine est très agréable. Intermarché bien achalandé à moins de 5 km. Merci à M. et Mme Lachaize pour leur accueil et toutes les petites attentions à notre arrivée (eaux, vins, confitures, savons à la rose, lits faits). Bonne continuation.
