Welcome to your paradise getaway! Unwind in style at Island Winds condo 1021. It is a fabulous two bedroom / two bath condo with a king bed in the primary bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom and a sleeper in living room, allowing six people to sleep comfortably. Both bedrooms have private screened lanais with amazing water views. Condo rates are based on 4 but will sleep up to 6 with additions fees per person per week.
Spectacular beach, bay and Gulf Views await you in this tenth-floor condo that has been completely remodeled from floor to ceiling and tastefully decorated for your personal comfort in mind. Seating is plenty beginning with two cozy Lazy Boy leather recliners paired in the living room for gazing out at both the Gulf of America and the Fort Myers Beach coastline. Additional chairs and a sleeper sofa provide seating for all. The screened lanai completes this room and on a good day you can view the beauty of the Sanibel Causeway and Island too.
If you like to cook, then you will love our fully equipped kitchen with some extras to make your stay extremely accommodating. The dining room seats six with four at the table and more at the kitchen bar. The primary bathroom has a standard walk-in shower, and the guest bathroom provides tub/shower combo. All linens are provided, including beach towels!

We had fabulous sunsets each night from our balcony. The unit was in a great location in the building and very spacious. We had everything we needed to make us feel at home. We loved being on the quiet side of the beach away from all the activity, but close enough to drive for a variety of restaurants. We rented an umbrella and chairs for the week, which was super convenient. Wave runners and parasailing were right there as well. The check in was super confusing because the property management company didn't put the instructions in VRBO and there were a multitude of emails with agreement forms that needed to be submitted ahead of time. The office was closed when we got there and no response to calls or emails as it was Sunday. Luckily we stumbled on an emergency number which someone answered so we got instructions. It took a couple of hours to figure it out and I started looking for other arrangements for the night. We helped others throughout the week who were confused about the check in. But the grounds and unit were awesome and I would definitely stay again. Just be sure to understand the checkin instructions a few days before you arrive as there is no information after hours, on Sundays or in the app.
