Beautiful, cosy apartment house "Chalet Doris", surrounded by meadows. In the district of an der Egg, 800 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, in a cul-de-sac, in the countryside, south facing position. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking at the house. Shopping centre, restaurant 800 m, bakery 500 m, café 500 m, bicycle rental 900 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Kirche" 600 m, railway station "Dorf" 1.3 km, outdoor swimming pool 2.5 km, indoor swimming pool 1 km. Very comfortable and well equipped apartment with a lovely balcony. The last 50 meters to the apartment are up a steep hill (but we did go for hill walking!) Very nice hostess.

The apartment has a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains (but it is only half the balcony you see in the picture). It is well equipped with kitchenware and has all necessary amenities for a couple, though nothing luxurious. Grindelwald is a very expensive area so the price is probably fair. One issue: there is another apartment next to this one and the bedroom window opens into this one's balcony, i.e. lack of privacy on both sides when both apartments are occupied.
