Menehune Shores Condo 222 Two Bedroom Two Baths

Great location. Nice condo.

Really liked this condo, but could stand for some additional updating. Kitchen seemed new, and living room was nice. Bedrooms need new flooring in place of carpets, and baths need updating. Great views of the ocean and nearby islands. Pool, and excellent beach. Grills & tables on roof with outstanding views.

The home was clean with a fully stocked kitchen and everything else you need for your trip in Maui - beach towels, boogie board, flip flops, etc. The location was also ideal - just a short distance from the beach as well as local restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking to stay in Maui.

We have stayed at Menehune Shores many times, in various places in the building, on various floors and all are good. I like to take the stairs to get a little more exercise while on vacation. I did have a challenge in the stairwell close to us and mentioned it to the building’s management. They resolved the issue within a couple of days. This, along with the care and attention taken with the grounds demonstrates the quality of the overall building.With respect to this particular unit, the kitchen was well appointed and had all the appliances you could need. The living room was well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were not as well maintained and seemed tired. I appreciated having a desk in the second bedroom as I was working while there. And a point in favour of the unit was that there was a pretty good supply of soap and shampoo in the bathrooms which is unusual.Overall, this unit was more expensive than others we have stayed in but it wasn’t in as good a condition as those other units so not as good value for the money. We did have a problem with the TV and contacted the manager who was very responsive and got us access by the next day. Thank you for that.
