This home is a perfect, cozy space for a lake weekend. The pool and hot tub were as pictured, the home was easy to find, yet still private, the property was extremely clean, and the detached garage space was perfect. We did take part in the optional boat rental and that entire process was very easy. The Staylakenorman Boat Rental group took care of everything and we walked right on the boat and got to immediately enjoy the lake. It truly felt like a home away from home. I enjoyed the outdoor area, as well as the amazing kitchen and grill. The adults, kids, and dogs were all so happy. We cannot wait to stay at Nights on Normandy again!

First of all, I’d like to say that it’s been a couple of years since staying at a VRBO home, but this compared to past experiences, was really disappointing. Overall, the cleanliness inside the house was good (although furniture in the common space was replaced with pieces that didn’t look nearly as good as the online pictures). The yard was covered in sticks and debris, the pool cover was buried in an inch of dirty leaves and water, and there were wood bees buzzing around the wood decking constantly. The outside was the most disappointing part of the home…and the main reason we chose this house at the lake. The purpose of this visit was to see if this was a good location for us to book again in the summer, but unfortunately, it’s not a good fit for us. I did appreciate the communication from the PM group before check in, I just think this property needs more attention to detail.
