About this house rental
Located in the old town of Split is this restored vacation home. Three floors with interior stairs and in the attic the roof slope reaches down to 150 cm. The interiors are beautifully furnished and suitable for two families of friends who want to visit together historical and cultural sights of the city and try Dalmatian cuisine in restaurants. In the garden there is a swimming pool. Nearby is the famous city beach Bacvice. On the last 30 m to the house the path consists of a 2 m wide passage between buildings. Besides the many sights and beaches that the wonderful city of Split has to offer, it is also worth taking a walk through the beautiful forest park Marjan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, stylish and well located home. The garden and pool area was a lovely family family gathering spot and there was plenty of room for privacy and togetherness for ourselves and our adult kids and partners. Communication and check in were friendly and very responsive. Location was fabulous - on the edge of the old town so close to everything but quiet for sleeping and relaxing.

This was a great house with all the accommodations needed for a superb time in Split. Excellent location with a 10 minute walk to the Market and the entrance to the Old Town. Ample space, modern furnishings, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. Overall, great space distribution among three floors (plus basement) for a group of up to 8 people.
A few recommendations to make the guest’s experience more pleasant are:
1) Improve air conditioning in all bedrooms and provide fans to each one to complement them. Specially in the 2nd floor bedrooms which depend solely on the air conditioning unit in the living area.
2) fix the windows screens throughout the house to allow access to open & close shutters for privacy purposes and to conserve energy.
3) trim the garden bushes and plants for guests to have a better access to the common areas, specially the pool, thus making the space look bigger and more appealing.
4) fix one of the lamps in the kitchen (the one closer to the sink) as it was missing the light bulb thus not working.
5) fix the handle to the freezer compartment inside the refrigerator as it was broken and utilizing the freezer was difficult.
6) fix the slow draining of the water in the sink and shower of the bathrooms in the 2nd floor & 3rd floors.
7) fix the entangled cables of the tv, game box, etc in the 2nd floor living room.
8) provide guests with more personal towels, kitchen towels, paper towels, kitchen trash bags, and toilet paper.

The location of the cottage is wonderful, very close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The cottage is very pretty and modern. AC was barely working. The check in process is stressful because the host personally welcomes you and harshly enforces the rules which are listed online. His main concern seemed to be “ no parties” and he threatened to do “ surprise visits at night” to ensure the rules are being followed. He also walks around the house and explains what not to touch or move during your stay. Very fearful towards guests and we felt very unwelcome.

This is a beautiful home in the heart of Split. We parked our car and never moved it until it was time to leave. This home is very beautiful with enough room for our family. The pool and patio area were a great way to unwind in the evening after a day spent sightseeing. It is close to restaurants, the palace and the harbor. This property was a 10 for my family’s first time in Split!
