About this house rental
This vacation accommodation is part of a large stone manor house from the 16th century, which welcomes you on 8,000 m² of grounds. The property is located on the outskirts of the commune of Valognes and thus in the middle of the Cotentin peninsula. Less than 15 km away, the sandy beaches of Quinéville and Sainte-Mère-Église are at your feet, and 30 km away stretches the famous Utah Beach. In addition to Utah Beach and the other Allied landing beaches, you can also take advantage of the coastal resort of Barneville-Carteret and the Anglo-Norman islands of Jersey and Guernesey, and the Côte des Isles offers a good range of water sports activities. This property will undoubtedly do it to you with its medieval and historic charm.

le logement est conforme à l'annonce, mais le tarif du ménage est un peu trop couteux.

Logement agréable dans un manoir rénové avec goût.
Les points positifs du gite grand volume des pièces avec une très belle cheminée qui fonctionne parfaitement.
Des équipements, mobiliers et vaisselle ensemble suffisant et convenable.
Les points négatifs:
Plancher des chambres et isolation phonique très médiocre qui crée un manque d'intimité si vous occupez le lieu avec des amis ou peut être très bruyant avec des enfants.
Si vous louez en Hiver vous ne pourrez pas gérer le chauffage qui est maîtrisé par le Propriétaire qui habite la maison mitoyenne.
Cette location manque d'intimité avec le Propriétaire qui semble ne pas porter beaucoup d'importance à l'intimité et à la tranquillité de ses hôtes.
Il faut vous attendre à ce que l'on vous lave une voiture avec un nettoyeur haute pression un dimanche après midi presque sous vos fenêtres.
Je n'insisterai pas sur l'entrée du propriétaire par une porte intérieure communicante avec son habitation et accessible uniquement de son logement.
J'espère que se comportement est exceptionnelle quand le compteur disjoncte mais néanmoins nous avons été très choqué de voir cela dans un espace que nous avions loué et dans lequel nous pensions avoir une entière Intimité.
