Old school feel but all in all good enough.

Location was great. Central to all the things we had planned. Great recommendations on food and sights to see. Air conditioner worked great.

Some of the lights didn't work properly in the kitchen. The kitchen sink faucet is missing the end cap so hard to control pressure. Front left burner on stove doesn't heat properly. There was a drawer on the island that wasn't seated correctly in it runners. One of the bathroom doors has a bad lower hinge so takes getting used to.

Cozy space with great amenities, scenic views, - nice place to relax.

The space is located on the second floor and features an overhanging patio with a beautiful view of the tree canopy at Canyon Lake. The rooms are cozy and stayed comfortably warm during our visit, even in very cold weather. All the amenities listed were thoughtfully provided. From the ground deck, you can catch a partial view of the lake. The area is well-equipped with a gas grill, ample seating, and a fire pit, making it a great spot to relax. The lighting, both indoors and outdoors, has been carefully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. What we loved the most was the lower deck—a perfect place to enjoy a chilled beer and some barbecue. The hosts, Ross and Karen, are incredibly knowledgeable about the area and genuinely interested in ensuring a great stay.

Fantastic location saw deer walk by very close to the deck! Not far from everything in Canyon Lake City and New Braunfels. Owners were very thoughtful.

Very good

The wine and crackers were a nice touch and made us feel welcome. It was fun watching the deer browsing right below us. The deck was comfortable, the cats were friendly, the dwelling was very nice.

Everything was great other than the shower was too small. I banged my elbows a few times on the shower door, it just isn't wide enough for me. Water in the kitchen was just a dribble so it was challenging to do dishes.

A weekend in Paradise

Great place to relax. Sat on back porch with coffee watching wildlife and the lake. VERY RELAXING. Rented owners pontoon boat for a day on the lake. A must do!

Comfortable and pleasant.

The setup of the house was perfect with a bathroom inbetween the 2 bedrooms. The living area was so cute with the bird mural on the walls. The owners were easy to communicate with and were very concerned about us having what we needed. The view of the lake was great.

Quiet and rustic property with lake views and lots of deer. Hosts very attentive and thoughtful!

I loved how gracious and welcoming the hosts were! They texted us everyday to check in on us. Gave us great recommendations when requested and provided us with a hand written note and bottle of wine/snacks to enjoy during our stay. I also loved that we were able to rent their boat directly and utilize the outdoor firepit, which was a nice added bonus!

The only thing that could have been better was the comfort of the beds, but still overall a good value!

Cozy and comfortable. Location is perfect for lake access with beautiful hilltop views. Pontoon boat rental was great. Deer frequently came up in the yard which the kids loved. Hosts are amazing!

Beyond excellent

I loved everything about the property, it was very comfortable and relaxing! We all had a great time even my dog!!! Ross and Karen were amazing and very helpful with finding places to go visit around the area! Overall it was beyond an excellent experience! So glad we booked Paradise at Canyon Lake!!
