This Mission Beach Bungalow is perfect for a small group of 4 who want to get away and enjoy a fun filled vacation in Mission Beach near all the attractions. This property has the perfect fenced patio, one off street parking space provided, located 1/2 block from Mission Bay and 1 block from the ocean. If you are looking for a beach getaway, this is the perfect property for you!
Mission Bay Park, Belmont Park, San Diego's historic oceanfront amusement park and let's not forget to mention the beach, are all right across the street. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, beach equipment rentals and markets, are within walking distance. You can rent or bring a bicycle and take a cruise along the boardwalk to find your perfect spot on the beach. There are several bike paths in the area, including one to Ocean Beach!
The Dover Beach Bungalow is cozy, clean beach house that was built in 1942. The bungalow is 720 square feet and with only 4 people staying there, allows plenty of space for everyone to relax. This property provides a comfortable place to relax after your daily adventures. Lounge on the couch and see what is available on cable TV, or maybe start a new series on Netflix instead. During commercials, you can update your Facebook on your cell phone or laptop using the secured Wi-Fi that is provided. If the weather is just too good to be inside, enjoy dinner and friends outside. There is a large table with seating for 6 on the front patio along with a gas BBQ available for you to use if you wish. After you load up and start the dishwasher, check your clothes to make sure you didn't spill any BBQ sauce on them. If you find some BBQ sauce on your clothes, it is okay, just throw them into the washer and dryer located in the garage. When heading out to the beach or the bay, don't forget to grab the boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels provided for you to enjoy.
Please note this rental has only 2 Queen beds, but an air mattress and bedding is provided for guests 5 & 6.
Dover Beach Cottage is Dog Friendly! We can accept up to 2 dogs, up to 50 pounds each. Pet description required at time of booking and additional Pet Fee's apply as well as acceptance of our Pet Policy is required. Please inquire if you are unsure of anything.

This place is just a perfect spot in the middle of all we like to do when we visit Mission Beach! Coaster Saloon for breakfast just a quick jaunt to the north. Sara’s Mexican Food and Capri a block south for lunch or dinner. Beachcomber and their Irish bartenders are always fun. Along with the Pennant and their ice cold beers! The house is perfect as well, has everything in the kitchen to cook a meal. Comfy beds and couch too. It’s always very clean! Fans provided if it’s a little warm.

The bay and oceans beaches are steps away. Parking on site is a huge benefit. We had the front door open every day. The couch and beds are SUPER comfy. I cook all of our meals and the kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need. All of the appliances (stove, fridge, microwave, washer and dryer) were quality pieces of equipment.

The cottage was nice but it was extremely hot with one box fan and 1 standup. Would recommend sometime of AC for next years visitors. We sat outside for a few minutes. If I would have had a broom and somewhere to clean the yard. It is too bad that hasn't been done for a long long time. It is between extremely nice cottages where their yards are extremely nice.
