Villa in protected space in front of the sea

Nice terrace and balcony sitting areas, nice garden area. Three fully equipped bathrooms, kitchen well equipped. You can indeed trust the photos. Nice and helpful contact.

Especially in the basement there was a distinct smell, got much better after opening the windows for some hours but still remained to some degree. Not sure whether it was because the house wasn't used for some while or whether it was due to the house being so close to the sea. I guess the moisture is difficult to handle in that climate. The house could benefit from an air conditioning or dehumidifier.

The house needs some attention to prevent it from falling into disrepair (some rooms suffer from rising damp, stains on some chairs in the living room which are covered with a blanket, no cosy lighting in the bedrooms and the living room,…) No central heating – 2 small electric heaters: 1 for the living room, 1 for 1 bathroom

We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa, it is at a great and quiet location, not far from shops, beaches, Teide Park, etc (even though you need a car), great sea and mountain view, very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The spa is a real plus! It was lovely to arrive and have all of the first necessities available, like toilet paper, coffee, spices, dishwasher tablets etc, a lovely gesture was the welcome bottle of wine, which was excellent!

Even though we received the answers from the owner straight away via message, it would have been nice to have a small folder with need-to knows, like where to find the wifi code, how to sort and where to get rid of trash, some ideas for excursions, etc. But that is just a minor detail, I cannot think of anything negative to say about our stay!

The villa was in an ideal location for us - a walking holiday in March. Peace, quiet, amazing views and a hot tub to sit in and watch the stars from on the cool evenings. The villa had all the amenities we needed. There are lots of walking routes within easy reach, but a car is essential. There is a good restaurant and bar a ten minute walk away which we went to several times. Los Realjos is about a 5 minute drive (nearest supermarket) and Puerto de La Cruz about 10 mins. Taxis are also easily arranged. If a busy resort filled with sunburned Brits watching football while eating fry ups and drinking beer at 11am with music blaring in the background is not for you, then this will be.
