About this house rental
28 km north of Hämeenlinna, Lake Ilmoilanselkä 35 m (length 5 km, width 3 km), shallow, hard sand bottom, pier and rowing boat.
2-storey wooden/breeze block cottage 1994. Interiors renovated 2017, Upstairs: living room/kitchen and bedroom double bed, toilet.
Downstairs: bedroom 3 beds, room with fireplace with 1 extra bed, sauna (wood-burning stove), washroom (shower). Cottage has balcony and open terrace towards evening sun.
Cottage has central vacuum cleaning system. Good quality pipe water from own deep well.
Gas grill and wood grill. Wifi. Possibility to charge an electric car (11 kw Type 2, located approx. 100 m from the cabin, shared with another cabin).
Maximum one pet allowed.

Final cleaning (Basic cleaning is always carried out by the guest) (2026-02-27 - 2027-04-30)

Great place to stay in, fully equipped convenient, tranquil and in a beautiful location. We stayed in the property for 6 days and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer as there is so much to see and do nearby.

Das Häuschen liegt wunderschön gelegen an einem glasklaren See. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Einziger Punkt wäre das man an den Fenstern, Fliegengitter anbringen könnte, da man wegen den Mücken nicht lüften konnte. Ansonsten war alles top. Es war eine tolle Zeit die wir dort verbringen konnten.

A very nice Finnish cottage by a lake. We stayed with our 3 children aged 4, 6 and 10. We enjoyed the sauna. We visited beautiful Aulanko park a short drive away in Hämeenlinna. Communication with the owner was very easy.
