We would have liked bigger towels for the other two adults rather than hand towels. There were no cleaning paper towels or cloths so I could clean properly. And I couldn't find a new liner to put it in the bin in the kitchen. The salt container was empty and no pepper. The sunflower oil bottle is almost empty. Thanks for letting us stay.

Large open apartment. Comfortable, bright! Loved the area. We did 2 days of D Day tours. Drove the windy road thru the villages. LOVED walking on the beach across the street from the apartment . Lovely village center. History took place in this area.

This was our first VRBO experience and we were unsure what to expect. We had chosen this unit because it was central to the part of our journey that explored the Normandy coast. The property is listed as being in Hermanville-sur-Mer but, in fact seems to be in Lion-sur-Mer and therein was our only difficulty with an otherwise excellent accommodation, we could not find it. The photo is of the back of the building and so could not locate it visually from the street. We were given an address but even with the aid of a GPS and asking at several small hotels and businesses in the area, we could not find the property since address numbers change as town jurisdictions change while remaining on the same roadway. We passed it 4 times in the search. Additional information such as a cross street, the name of a business across the street and/or across the street from a church would have helped. The accommodation was on the second floor of the building, entering from the back door. Angled parking was on the street in front. The unit was clean, bright, large and spacious, fully equipped including a dishwasher, spartan in its décor and included WiFi, perfect for the day travel needs of a party of 4. Bed sheeting was an extra charge in cash to the owner. The 2 bedrooms had ensuite showers but shared a toilet. We were met by Francois who showed us around, gave necessary instructions with regard to garbage regulations, how to use the locks, etc. and directed us to local groceries where we could get what we needed. It was a most satisfying accommodation for our needs. We trust Francois found it as clean as we found it. We thank him for his hospitality.

This flat was perfect and I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness, spotlessness and the location. We arrived much, much later than expected and our host responded to all of my emails without hesitation. There is a 10 euro fee for bed linens, which I had forgotten to ask for and our host accommodated us at the last minute without a problem. The flat was spotless and spacious. The beach is literally one minute away. Thank you Francois.

Propriétaire très disponible pour échanger et qui donne plein d'informations utiles. Nous avons pu avoir un lit bébé prêté ce qui a été très pratique pour nous. Très bon emplacement, appartement grand et propre. Très bien équipé. Volets électriques dans chaque chambre. Seule remarque : si vous êtes sensibles au bruit, prévoyez des boules quies, la route est proche + église qui est collée à l'appartement et qui sonne longuement à 8h.

Pour notre weekend d'avril avec les enfants, nous avons choisi ce site au départ pour sa proximité avec la mer, ce qui était effectivement le cas, à 100m de l'appart, on a les pieds dans l'eau. De plus, l'appart est bien orienté parce qu'on a le soleil le matin et l'après midi, mais pas le vent marin, encore frais en ce mois d'avril. Mais ce qui nous a encore plus séduit, c'est l'immense jardin. Nos 4 enfants (de 7 à 12 ans) on pu jouer au foot et au volley y compris pendant que nous faisions la grasse matinée... ah, quel confort... L'apéro et le ptit dej' en la terrasse, avec le dépôt de pain à 30m de l'appart, bref, adresse à refaire ! Ps: En plus François, le gérant est sympa.

La propriété est agréable - Elle regroupe plusieurs habitations sans aucune gêne - Notre appartement pour 2 couples était spacieux et nous avons apprécié les 2 salles de bain à chaque chambre - La situation géographique est parfaite - Le propriétaire fait confiance aux locataires et bien qu'il ne soit pas sur le site reste joignable au téléphone - Nous avons trouvé les matelas des petits lits trop mous à notre gôut - Mais globalement notre séjour a été très agréable dans cet appartement et nous avons trouvé l'agencement correct -

L'accès à l'appartement n'est pas facile pour des enfants, nous avions deux petits de 2 et 4 ans, le portail de la maison est sur une route et près d'un carrefour routier. La montée de l'escalier à l'appartement, en réfection n'est pas facile. Dans l'appartement, il manque des placards dans la cuisine, et des ustensiles, cuillères, verres. Dans la chambre avec petits lits, les marelas sont usagés. La chambre avec le grand lit, la literie est confortable. Dans la pièce de vie, il n'y a qu'une fenêtre sur trois équipée de rideaux. L'accès à la plage est très proche par contre. Nous avons été surpris par rapport à la photo

Un petit bémol est le couchages des petits lits. Je pense si il est nécessaire de revoir la literie. Manque une armoire pour ranger ses affaires. Ainsi qu un porte manteau dans les salles d eau.

Voor het bezoeken van de D-day stranden is de locatie van de woning een goede uitvalbasis. De woning zelf matig. De keuken slecht uitgerust, het nodige glaswerk ontbrak en het keukengerei was, zeker voor Franse begrippen, niet wat we verwacht hadden. Van het balkon kon geen gebruik worden gemaakt.Ook dat hadden we verwacht omdat een balkon in de beschrijving vermeld staat. De douches functioneerden goed; de matrassen van de eenpersoons bedden zijn zeker aan vervanging toe. We hebben wel een mooie week gehad en veel van Normandie gezien.
