Great location but apartment disappointing…

Great location in the centre of Le Puy en Velay. Parking onsite was handy, but very tight to enter and exit.

Apartment was very long and narrow with the bedroom up a very tight staircase which we could not take our luggage up. Unfortunately everything was just too tight and small for us to enjoy. We did not think this particular apartment was good value for money….

An excellent base from which to enjoy a stunning town and the Auvergne landscape.

Modern, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The silent fan in the bedroom was especially welcome in the heat. On a busy street but at the back on the 3rd floor (no lift), so quiet. Less than 5 minutes walk into the old town. Very good communication from the owners.

A couple of bath towels rather than just hand towels would be good.

Too small for a couple and should be advertised as needing to climb 3 flights of stairs (with bags) to get to the apartment. Very dangerous narrow internal stairs to the bedroom.

Great spacious apartment to explore Le Puy

Ours was a large spacious and comfortable apartment, with well equiped kitchen, large bedroom, lounge, bathroom, comfy beds, and the apartment was in a great location, right at entry to main old town.

Bathroom smelled badly, unsure why, but had to keep door shut; couch uncomfortable to sit on, seats were falling off; apartment was generally not very clean, remnants of dirt on floor (since they ask you to clean the floor yourself when you leave, you wonder whether a cleaner does it too), generally a few 'Do This', and 'Don't Do That' advices; and then - like so often in France - a late check-in, 4pm, with a prior warning not to come earlier (difficult for walkers that arrive early in town - a few in Le Puy.)

Great location but apartment too hot

it was in a great location close to the centre of the city. It was good to have secure parking, but it was quite difficult to get into.

The apartment was quite small which meant we had difficulty keeping our luggage out of the way. Our apartment (5), was on the third floor and was very hot, especially as the afternoon sun came in. The bedroom was on a mezzanine floor in the roof space meaning there was very little headroom and the heat had nowhere to go. Although a small fan was provided, we both found it difficult to sleep due to the heat, even with the balcony doors open in the apartment.

A clean, quiet & secure ‘home away from home’ in the heart of town. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent: it’s within easy walking distance of the main city sites. The apartment is beautifully maintained & has everything you need for a short stay. It’s also surprisingly quiet despite being on a lively street with bars & restaurants. And Lionel was really helpful, sending all the necessary info 48 hrs ahead of arriving.

The location is very good, and the apartment has been well designed and furnished

The apartment was not clean, and I had to clean it myself. Via text message, the hosts apologised and offered to send their cleaners in again. I think the hosts should come on site themselves to check that their desired standards are being maintained. The neighbourhood can be noisy, and the bar immediately downstairs plays loud music until the early hours. It's a good idea to use earplugs.

Super nice and super clean, close to everything. We will not hesitate coming back to this place!

If you have small kids or if you need total silence, this place is maybe too close to a busy street with pubs and restaurants. When you open the windows you will hear the noice from the street.

2 Night Stay on Motorbike Tour in Le Puy.

Excellent apartment. Really good facilities, very well presented and maintained to high standard. Private secure parking was perfect to safeguard our motorcycles. Would stay here again. Lionel was very helpful and made our access simple.

À deux pas de roi de L'oiseau.

La proximité pour le tournoi de l'oiseau. La propreté du logement et son calme malgré le fait d'être en hypercentre.

Le parking. Trouver une place a été très compliqué. Nous n'avions pas réserver de place de parking car cela engendrait un budget supplémentaire.

Parfait pour un court séjour de découverte de la ville du Puy en Velay

L'emplacement centre ville est parfait pour accéder très rapidement aux commerces et sites touristiques. Le garage sur place permet de sécuriser sa voiture et ses bagages. Appartement bien agencé, avec des fenêtres dans la cuisine et la chambre qui permettent d'aérer.

Le garage est à louer en plus. Une partie de la vaisselle n'était pas propre.

Appartement du 1er étage. Proche de tous les commerces et du centre historique du Puy. Tout était très bien. Le propriétaire Lionel est très disponible si on a une question et répond par message en quelques minutes..

Deuxième réservation aux nuits d’anis ce qui a confirmé notre premier bon ressenti .. alors jamais deux sans trois .. à une prochaine fois ..

Très bien situé et sécurisé, à deux pas du centre historique, parfait pour tout faire à pieds, immeuble propre et calme.

Coin repas peu convivial, bruyant les soirs d'été et de week-end à cause des deux bars situés juste en dessous des fenêtres, meubles moyennement qualitatifs. De plus, le ménage ne semblait pas avoir été fait avant notre arrivée, peut-être un oubli ?
