Michael and Laura are wonderful hosts. They are delightful, accommodating, and interesting. They answered any questions we had about the area and happily shared information about their property which is creatively designed and built. We felt were completely at ease in the space. I asked Laura if we could turn the pool lights on for a late night swim. Her response was: "The only rule is keeping the gate locked!" We floated under a star-studded sky, blissfully separated from the drama in the outside world.
It would have been better if we could have stayed longer!!! Everything was perfect.

Hosts are very welcoming and kind, truly exhibiting the aloha spirit. Their property is spacious and well kept. There is a lovely pool, a trail that goes to the ocean, and a room with all necessary amenities. We stayed for 3 nights and were able to easily get to all the places in Hilo (National Parks, MaunaKea, Snorkeling sites)
Nothing!
