Holiday house with 5 bedrooms for up to 10 people in Berlin Steglitz-Lichterfelde

Great apartment, well kept with plenty of space for families. Close to S Bahn station and bus stops for ease in travel around Berlin if you don't have a car. Grocery stores and even and McDonalds are within easy walking distance. Christoph was easy to work with and accommodating. A great experience for our Berlin visit!

Contacless check-in was easy. Communication with Christoph quick and correct. WIFI worked well in the whole house. Kitchen has everything you need. Convenient 10 minute walk to S-bahn station, buses, shops and restaurants. House located in a quiet, green neighbourhood.

This was a great location for my family as we visited extended family in Berlin. The house was clean and well equipped, and very close to public transportation so it was easy to get around.

Good house location in a lovely tree-lined residential area about 10 minutes to the S Bahn station. The showers were very good and the bathrooms were well appointed. There were however a number of disappointing aspects: No time was taken by the owner to show us around the house and how things worked eg dishwasher, front door locking or Lounge TV which we never got to work! We are a family of 4 adults, and told them this, but two children's single beds were made up. So those fitted sheets and duvets had to be moved by us. The quality of the bed pillows was absolutely rubbish - and only one pillow per bed - totally inadequate and no access to any more. We were left to work out how we should properly deal with / separate rubbish for the external bins and there were no spare black bags to replace those in the internal bins. Only two external garden seats were provided and no garden table. The owner did say that we should telephone him if we needed anything but we did not want nor did we think we should have to do this. We were also asked to strip beds and leave the bedding in the bathroom on leaving and do not think this was an appropriate request to make. We also feel that it would have been a nice gesture if some milk, perhaps a little bread and butter had been provided as a 'starter pack' for the guests after a days travelling before we got ourselves settled, unpacked and headed off to the nearest shop. If I were doing this I would be providing my guests with a local map / information pack of shops and restaurants to help guests settle in. Local shop [Aldi] and restaurants [ Italian and Chinese ] we tried were very nice.
