Well-being and relaxation by the pool or in the garden under lemon and kumquat trees overlooking the bay to Cinque terre, or in the library by the fireplace, playing billiards; or plan a day trip to the surrounding area under the palm trees by the pool - all this far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life; And yet, within a few minutes' walk in the old town of Massa, you can shop at the weekly market or enjoy the sophisticated life in Forte dei Marmi at a distance of about 7 km.
For beach lovers in Versilia with about 20 km of sandy beaches are enough bathing facilities available.
Plan boat trips from Marina di Massa via the ports of Lerici to Porto Venere, Cinque Terre or prepare the evening in one of the many small trattoria's in the mountains.
Meat and fresh fish from the mercato coperta can be cooked on the grill.
Art monuments there are so many that they do not need to be enumerated. We are happy to assist with travel guides and advice and, if time permits, we are happy to spoil you with a local food by appointment.

We had a fantastic time at the property. We loved the wonderful large swimming pool with a gorgeous view over the town, the beautiful gardens and the lovely terrace for sitting out and eating al fresco. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully kept and we were pleasantly cool in the evenings because of the mountain location. Marion is the kindest of hosts - nothing was too much trouble for her and she went out of her way to help us and offer suggestions, which made our stay very special. Massa has some great places to eat and you can easily get to the train station for excursions to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Thoroughly recommend this, we hope to return and thank you Marion.

We had an amazing week in this large romantic house. Everything was clean, well equipped kitchen, very nice pool and garden. Only 5 minute walk to nice restaurants. And Marion was the sweetest host ever that really made an effort to make us feel welcome. We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our stay in Massa a lot and the house and its facilities were just perfect for the six of us. Everything needed was there and our landlord was always supportive and helped out, if needed. Great food, perfect view on a nice landscape and all needed shopping facilities in close reach completed our vacation. We’ll surely be back to Tuscany soon.

This property is really beautiful and full of character. There are fruit trees and flowers and a gorgeous view. The pool was great and the kids loved it. Marion lives upstairs and was there most of the time. She was really nice (she’s German and speaks both German and English) and left us fresh tomatoes and other treats and helped us dry our clothes when we weren’t home, which was really nice. The only downside is that she charges extra if you want sheets or pillows for the beds and towels for the bathroom, which I didn’t see in the listing. We had to pay 150 euros more for those basic amenities, which for a place of this price, should have been included (or just add it to the listing price so we don’t have to even think and worry about it). I have to bring my own bedding to a campground, but not to a luxury vrbo. Other than that, it was an awesome stay! Just beautiful!

The beautiful home is located 7 minutes walk from the town which is very atmospheric, chilled out and a lovely place to wander during the early evening aperitivo hour. We were initially surprised to find the landlady lived in the villa (on the top floor) but Marion could not be more discrete. She was available for any advice or recommendations. The house itself was spotlessly clean, with spacious rooms, and a view over the town and coastline to die for. We were initially concerned about no aircon or fans but given its location up the hillside, we found the temperature to be relatively cool (35 degrees outside). The gardens were lush and a great places to relax by the sizeable pool (beware of mosquitos if you are prone to attracting them). Downstairs fridge came in handy for our wine and beers! A great week in a fantastic location.

We had an amazing stay at Marion’s house in Massa. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet area overlooking the sea and the city: a quick walk down the hill brought us to restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries etc. The house was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was lovely…and very much appreciated at the end of a hot day of visiting around Massa. Marion was very friendly and helpful. She was quite discrete and allowed us privacy as a family when we were in the pool etc. At the same time, she was always available when we had a question or desired some travel advice. We highly recommend this house. We really appreciated the location as it was a short drive to the sea as well as other charming towns and sights.

Great vacations

Great vacations

We (2 families with kids) was there for a week. The host is great and attentive. I advise you not to hesitate asking for the guidance regarding local food, shops and attractions, hiking. The place is quiet and breezy even during the hot days, especially the back bedroom. The nearest beach (you should have a car) is sandy and good for children with gently sloping entrance. Thanks to Marion and have a great time.

Nice house in a quiet location

We enjoyed a nice stay in a pretty and very clean house. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog. We were a little surprised to learn that the landlady actually staid in the same house - she lives permanently on the upper floor - but this was ok, since Marion turned out to be a very nice lady who knows all the best places for fresh Italian food 😊 Not a party location for older teenagers, but ideal for a quiet sun vacation

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und spottet mitsamt dem unglaublichen Garten jeder Beschreibung. Das Grundstück ist einfach wunderbar angelegt, die Bepflanzung ist ein Traum, und der Pool riesig und zum Schwimmen einfach perfekt. Abends kommen die Glühwürmchen am Waldrand zur Erscheinung, und auf der anderen Seite schaut man auf die beleuchtete Stadt und das Meer. Ein Traum. Auch die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin und die sehr nette Dame vor Ort ist toll. Gerne immer wieder. Danke für alles

W ustronnym spokojnym kacie, blisko do centrum. Z ogrodu nie chce sie wychodzic. Z kazdej strony domu relaksowe mniejsca. Dowolne punkty grilowania (jeden stacjonarny i przenosne). Widok z tarasu basenu mily. Do plazy niestety daleko (nie tesknilem), ale basen ze slona woda, jacuzzi i podswietleniem calkowicie wyrownal ta niedogodnosc.Uwaga! Basen w polowie jest gleboki. Niezbedna uwaga nad dziecmi i nieplywajacymi. W ogrodzie naturalne przyprawy. Niestety wedlug informacji od wlasciciela, w tym roku ze wzgledu na mroz w lutym zadnych owocow.. Brakowalo mi cytryn prosto z drzewa. Kto chce odpoczac - polecam. Kompletny relaks. Szczegolny mikroklimat przy basenie.

Wir (6 Studenten) haben uns in diesem Haus wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden anfangs nett empfangen und auch während des Urlaubes gut betreut. Das Haus befindet sich über Massa, wobei die Stadt zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen ist, lediglich zum Meer muss man ins Auto oder in den Bus steigen. Der Hang an dem das Haus liegt schreckt erst einmal ab, nach ein paar Malen stellt er allerdings kein Problem mehr dar, wir kamen mit unserem alten T3 Bulli hoch! Der Ausblick vom Pool und der Pool selbst ist Hammer. In den frühen Morgenstunden und frühen Abendstunden sollte man sich gegen Mücken schützen oder im Haus bleiben, durch die starke Vegetation scheinen sich die Mücken hier offensichtlich wohlzufühlen. Riesen Vorteil für uns: Es gab massig Platz zum Bier kalt stellen! Wir bedanken uns nochmal für den tollen Urlaub und können uns gut vorstellen, erneut ein Urlaub in diesem Haus zu verbringen.

Tolles Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Durch die Lage am Berg kann man die Ruhe genießen. Der Pool ist wirklich super und durch die verschiedenen Ebenen absolut kindgerecht. Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Urlaub und können das Haus auf jedenfalls weiterempfehlen.

Es hat uns in diesem Ferienhaus wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft, der Ausblick atemberaubend. Den Kindern hat der Pool ebenso viel Freude gemacht wie die vielen Musikinstrumente. Wir haben Landschaft und Strand in gleichem Maße erkundet und vom Frühstück bis zum Abendbrot jede der gelungenen Blickachsen ausgenutzt. Auch die Bücherauswahl fand ich sehr interessant, das schöne Wetter hat die intensive Nutzung aber verhindert. Die Wohnung ist sauber und stilvoll ausgestattet, die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Wir hatten ein paar herrliche Tage in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Die lichtdurchfluteten Zimmer und das ausgesprochen bequeme Bett sorgen für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Die große Fensterfront im Wohnzimmer bietet einen super Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer. Sowohl das großzügige Badezimmer als auch die komplette Wohnung sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der wunderschöne Garten mit dem Pool läd zu einem gemütlichen Abend bei einem Glas italienischem Rotwein ein. Durch die ideale Lage konnten wir ein paar gelungene Tagesausflug unternehmen. Sowohl Pisa als auch die bekannten Marmorsteinbrüche in Carrara sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wir freuen uns jetzt schon darauf im nächsten Jahr wiederzukommen.
