This holiday home with private pool is situated on a slight hill above the beautiful Chiana Valley, about 2 km from Rigutino, surrounded by olive groves. On the fully fenced property you have exclusive use of the secure pool area - saltwater pool; also covered terraces (3) with barbecue, table tennis and table football. Gated entrance shared with the owner, who lives in the outbuilding on the property. A place to relax, but also for hiking and biking, for example in the nearby Lignano Nature Park (2 km). For bikers, there is the central cycle path in the Chiana Valley, which leads from Arezzo to the Etruscan town of Chiusi. Visit Arezzo (15km) with its picturesque historic centre, the unique Piazza Grande and the frescoes by Piero della Francesca in the church of San Francesco; a special attraction is the large antiques market on the first weekend of every month and the Saraceno equestrian games, which take place in the piazza in summer. Or the picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona, which has dominated the valley for thousands of years and is only 20 kilometres away. Wine tasting in the medieval town of Montepulciano (40km) is a must and the charming Renaissance town of Pienza (45km) with breathtaking views over the Orcia Valley (45km) will remain a vivid memory. In half an hour's drive you can reach Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (35km). Also within an hour's drive: Siena with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo" (80km) and the Umbrian capital Perugia (70km). And right next door to discover: Castiglion Fiorentino (7km) with its medieval castle, nice shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars and a colourful weekly market. Unpaved access road.
