This cabin my family and I stayed had has some pros, but many more cons. Pros: - 5 full bathroom with plenty of towels. - complementary toiletries (very convenient). - Decent kitchen and bedroom sizes. Cons: - spiders and ants everywhere (expect to be bitten). - spiderwebs on furniture and in the corners. - broken grill (Big disappointment since we planned a BBQ and Marinated a lot of meat, just to find out grill was broken). - very old/ broken furniture throughout the house - kitchen not fully equipped (didn’t even have a spatula to make pancakes). We reached out to our local Vacasa agents with the issues we were experiencing right away, and we’re told we would be compensated for our inconveniences. After not hearing from them, I reached out to them again the day after checkout, only for them to claim we didn’t reach out to them in time and couldn’t be compensated for our current stay. I explained and proved how we did reach other many times throughout our stay, but they still refused to acknowledge the truth. I even took a step future and contacted Vacasa online customer service, twice, to be told each time I would be contacted back and compensated, but did not receive any response back. This is my first time, and mostly likely, last time I will be doing business with Vacasa.

Our family of 8 really enjoyed how spacious this cabin was! Plenty of living space for everyone to be comfortable. The cabin was really clean and there was plenty of towels available in the bathrooms. The shared pool was a nice option to have . Our kids enjoyed swimming in it. We enjoyed the quiet nature of the area until Thursday night when new renters occupied the house next to us. They were loud on their balcony from 11pm until 1am for our last 2 nights there. The master bedroom & the kid's bedroom were located on their side of the cabin so we heard everythingthrough the wall. So be aware that the surrounding cabins are in close proximity. Another downfall was the only was to access the hottub was to go through one of the bedrooms on the lower level. It was kind of an inconvenience to the guests staying in those rooms unfortunately. We would definitely return to the area for another stay but would choose a cabin with a mountain view. The view of this cabin was only trees which was good for privacy on the balconies.

The housekeeper came back into the property once I checked in and took my luggage. They did not return them until 10:00 am the next day.

Vacasa is the worst host. This is my second time booking with them and both times they have ruined my trip. They are very irresponsible. I have spoken to three different representative regarding some of the problems in the property. The property was dirty the fridge was not working and the hot tub which was one of the amenities on the property was disgusting and not working. Not one employee reached back out to me unless I kept calling. I still have not heard back from the representative that had said he will definitely get back to me. Vacasa is definitely not a host I would recommend to anyone.

When we got here it was dirty. The towels didn't smell fresh, there is rat poop on the floor everywhere behind the bench kitchen table, a lot of the furniture is half broken, there were cob webs everywhere when trying to walk into the down stairs bathrooms, there was rat poop all over the front porch walkway, the kitchen floor hadn't been swept, and we had to rehash most of the dishes before we used them. I have NEVER had this type of experience while renting a cabin and for the amount of money spent I don't feel like I should have had to deal with these things.

The cabin itself is big, roomy, and spacious. It does have some issues, the thermostat is on a timer, one that the guest can’t control. It reset itself to 50° over and over. We were either freezing to death or roasting. The lower part of the house doesn’t get much heat, there are multiple space heaters in the closet that you can use, however you can’t get the temperature comfortable. It does sleep eight people, but it doesn’t shower eight people. The water heater likely isn’t big enough, because we ran out of water after three people. The grill has to blow torches for burners, so you can’t really use it. It looks like someone may have turned it over, because the porch had a big burn spot on it. The stove doesn’t have markers on the controls on the burners, so if you cook when you travel you have to guess where you’re at on the settings. The bedroom door in the basement doesn’t lock, so that was concerning. When we arrived none of the TVs worked and the hot tub was disgusting.

If you are going to sleep in the cabin and do nothing else, it is perfect. It has big comfortable beds and plenty of room. If you plan to cook or grill there, you would likely be better off choosing another one.

This cabin was perfect for my guests. Everyone had their bathrooms, which was a PLUS! Beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean. New furniture wouldn’t hurt. You could tell it was pretty old. I left my own space heater that I brought, so now there’s an extra one there. Overall, I’d highly recommend this cabin..location was perfect. Thanks again!

Well first thing the grill did not work part of it was missing. off the back porch there is tons of trash that was never picked up that looks like it’s been there for a very long time. Very outdated for the costs. The house was very clean . room are great size .

Home needs alot of maintenance. To start, there isnt any pans to bake with. 1 cupcake pan and 1 small pizza pan but nothing more. Zero measuring tools. Middle floor bathroom doesnt lock, master down stairs has a messed up shower door , the hot water heater isnt sufficient for the size of the home. (Only 1 person every 20/30 mins even though there are 5 full bathrooms) All pool sticks were broken or warped , many missing or blown light bulbs. The sectional sofa in the living room is 100% broken on the right side. and the entire home is leaning/caving into the middle because of improper construction . The home was clean , and the communication with management was great . However , the owners of this home should definitely choose to take a quick visit and fix all things wrong. The price is high for what you get. I would not recommend that you stay here if you intend to cook or if you like privacy and want the ability to lock a door. It's a beautiful home but lacks maintenance.

Not a bad location. It’s a shame this cabin has not been taken care of. Not sure if it’s the owner or the management team that’s responsible for the repairs & updates? Way too many things were either broken or wore out. Broken furniture, nails in stairs, clogged shower heads, moldy smelling washer, broken space heaters, leak in hot tub, blew a fuse, no hot water after 1 shower, water pouring thru the ceiling from broken faucet in kitchen…and more. Very disappointed in this cabin. We always stay in a cabin at least 2 to 3 times every year for the past 20 years and this was the worst one by far unfortunately.

It was great size cabin for 8 people, plenty of room Location fairly easy to get to, close access to the parkway. The only complaint is the two bedrooms on the lower level had very little to no heat from the HVAC system. The first night we froze and then discovered an electric heater the next morning. The heater was sufficient but it sure would have been helpful to have a heads up that you need to use electric heaters downstairs.

The place was quiet. Had noisy neighbors but fans solved the problems. Clean throughout. Only issues were the commode seats. 3 were real loose but with screwdriver and pliers, it was easily fixed. My two brother in laws are maintenance men. Had a visit by two bears who ambled down the street. One coffee pot needs to be replaced(the one with the blue light) as it cuts on and off. 6 of us stayed there with plenty of room.

The bottom tray in the dishwasher is missing two wheels and hence is imbalanced when dishes are loaded and the fan blade hits the bottom tray and stops the dishwasher.3. Two nails have popped up in the staircase to the basement and needs fixed.4. Handle of the bedroom door upstairs does not work.5. Need better lighting for the pool table.We feel that some of these could have been taken care of from previous visitor's complaints.

We arrived and found garbage from the previous renters, all the furniture was broken, the dishes in the cupboards and were filthy with old food dried on them, the building was sliding down into the ravine so the floors are not level and the water level in the hot tub clearly showed how bad the deck sloped. The hot tub itself is the cheapest one on the market and it did not function properly. There are nails sticking up on the stairs and the maintenance guy refused to properly set them so they had worked their way back out within two days. The slate pool table (very heavy) has a broken leg propped up under it with nothing securing it so it is extremely dangerous, especially for little children. I would not recommend this property until after a complete inspection for structural integrity, a complete exchange of undamaged furniture, and a through cleaning. I have decades as a general contractor and I would be ashamed of this building.

I loved everything about this cabin. perfect for a girls trip! place was super clean and beautiful. only thing that need some adjustments is the first level of the house. it’s super cold down there even with the AC off. didn’t want to turn the heat up and make the rest of the uncomfortably hot considering the fact that it’s super hot in tennessee and the ceiling fan doesn’t turn off in the bedroom downstairs couldn’t figure out how to turn it off. other then that the stay was great. love how wahoo zip lining was a great walking distance.

I rented this property on VRBO, and the property is managed by Vacasa. Therefore, I cannot reasonably believe that VRBO is completely responsible. However they are part of the problem. There are many reviews on this cabin that share my same sentiment. One would think the OWNER, Vacasa, and VRBO would take note. Upon arrival (we arrived an hour and a half after the check-in time, 4:00 pm) at 5:30 pm , we were happy to see that the cabin itself, is a beautifully built home. However, as we walked through the home and viewed closely and thoroughly for cleanliness, I was beyond disappointed. The floors were filthy and my sixteen month old daughter’s feet were filthy within the first thirty minutes. I also traveled with my ten year old, a five month old, my husband, and my mother-in-law. As far as cleanliness is concerned, the cabin was extremely dirty in the areas that count the most. The oven, microwave, bathrooms, bed mattresses, upper walls, were dust filled and filthy. There were no cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan, cleaning products)...Long story short, I called Vacasa and spokes to three different representatives. An hour and a half after the first call, an outsourced cleaning crew consisting of two people, came in wearing no masks. Unfortunately, we had a language barrier and the employees had to call their boss to communicate our concerns. My husband spoke to the cleaning supervisor representing the employees and the employees in turn: brought in a soaking wet mop, that they put in the sink and sprayed a substance from a febreeze bottle onto the mop along with continuing to run the mop under the water in order to mop the floor because again, no mop bucket. Whatever was in the febreeze bottle, they also sprayed this substance into the air to freshen because we mentioned the smell of smoke. No cleaning of the bathrooms. One employee attempted to clean the oven and she even took pictures after along with taking pictures of the floor they mopped, the microwave, and stove. My husband and mother in law were both celebrating birthdays and I was beyond embarrassed that I brought them here, especially after paying insanely for our week’s stay. The cleaning crew was gone in less than forty five minutes but we were forced to stay there and watch them clean after our eleven hour road trip from Michigan. Ultimately, the Vacasa reps connected me with a supervisor who offered us another cabin in the same resort but the accommodations didn’t work for us.

Overall property is fine. When we booked, we read thru the reviews but need to advise the owner, read them and fix them. There was a review from June about nails sticking out on the steps, figured they were fixed and my daughter cut her foot on it. The couch is still broken. They are having a heating/cooling problem. The bottom floor was ice cold and a space heater was needed for 1 bedroom. The top floor was extremely warm and would not cool down. I guess that is the reason for A/C units in the windows. The cabin could really use a nice deep cleaning. Also, the hot tub runs and runs all night long, the bedrooms next it will hear it constantly thru the night. We actually had one of our kids on the 3rd floor complain about it. Called the numbers in the email during normal business hours, first number keeps disconnecting you and the second number just rings and rings. Called the after hours number and explained the situation. They sent a handyman out at 10pm (very nice guy), he did fix the nails in the steps however, the heat and air is still an issue. Would definitely try a cabin again, just not this one.

I must say we were pleasantly surprised (in a good way) with our stay! The cabin is beautiful and so close to many fun activities in the area. We did have an issue with the air conditioning upstairs. It was super hot upon our arrival so we turned the window units on and it cooled down a good bit on the first day, however the other days were not as cool. We made it work and it did not affect our great time! The hot tub was awesome, all kitchen appliances were in good working condition, and we had a great view! We have all decided to come back very soon!
