The farm is set on a landscape with olive trees, vineyards and cypresses. It has been completely renovated with care to the original features of the typical tuscan country houses. Borgo has 15 apartments, all independant, tastefully furnished. There is a large private car park and the whole area is monitored by video surveillance. The apartments are set in a large garden ideal to relax and walk around. The wonderful panoramic swimming pool with hydromassage and sun deck is situated just a few yards from the apartments. wi-fi service only in the outside area.

Für die Hitze und die Gelsen kann keiner was, der Rest war super. Idyllisch gelegen, nahe an Florenz, Pool war gefüllt, Wildschweine, Rehe, Hasen ließen sich blicken, wir waren zufrieden.

Propreté exceptionnelle. Appartement généreux avec 2 terrasses, 3 salles de bain, 4 WC... Beaucoup d'intimité. Très belle restauration (4 ans de travaux, voir album photos à l'accueil) XXX : très présent mais en toute discrétion. A rencontrer ! Bus direct pour Florence. Attention : itinéraire correct mais coordonnées GPS fausses. UNE VALEUR SÛRE !

It’s a beautiful, beautiful place! It’s created for leisure and relaxation. “Stop and smell the roses” kind of place. If you are looking for a city life with shops and cafes, bars and restaurants or vivid night life – it’s not for you. This place is for getting away from all the rush. You’ll be surrounded by green rolling hills, silver-ish olive trees and slender cypresses. There’s an infinity edge pool with lavender bushes all around. Butterflies and bees fluttering from flower to flower, cicadas adding the soundtrack to this idyllic picture.
There’s no breakfast or dinner offered at this place. So you’ll be better of getting groceries and cooking at the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary items: gas stove, full size refrigerator, pans and pots, etc. Rooms have minimal decorations, clean and simple. There are separate air-conditioning units in each of the bedrooms, but they are not very powerful. We stayed at this place in the end of June and they were straggling to keep bedrooms somewhat cool.
Getting to Borgo Bottaia is tricky. Even though it’s only 10km drive from Ponte Vecchio brace yourself for some challenging roads; very narrow and windy. Navigation systems get confused about the address as well. We had a couple of taxis taking us from Florence city center and not being able to find the place without calling over there for additional instructions.
