One More Day Hostel, Weligama Beach

Mi reseña es clara: el valor del hostel se basa en la vida social que se genera allí. Los chicos que lo llevan son muy majos, serviciales y agradables, un encanto la verdad! Se esfuerzan en organizar actividades para que hagas de Weligama tu hogar de vacaciones, y funciona! La localización es inmejorable, frente a la playa y al lado de la estación de bus.

Del mismo modo que digo lo bueno... El hostel está dejado, (y no soy muy escrupulosa, la verdad). Los baños de las habitaciones terribles. Mucho calor en las zonas comunes y habitaciones (aunque están trabajando en ello). Si te toca en el upper bed, no hay mosquitera.

I must have said "One more day" at least seven times during my stay here but cause it was so amazing. Both the other travellers, as well as the staff, were incredible, social, and fun to be around. Rizzie runs this hostel from the bottom of his heart, which is clear from all the time and effort he continuously invests in improving the facilities and making sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. The new café is an incredible addition, because few things are better than fresh coffee and smoothies in the morning. The facilities are basic, but for a location right on the beach there's not much more you could ever need. Being able to walk 30 seconds to the beach for a dip was so convenient. It was easy to make friends both for parties, but also to share fun activities like surfing and checking out local restaurants. As a smaller hostel, I found it felt a lot more like a family than some of the larger hostels in the area. I can't wait to come back to Weligama and stay here again!

die Klimaanlage war sehr leise und hat gut funktioniert. :)

- musquitonetz war total kaputt. das Personal hat ständig behauptet es gibt keine Mücken. aber es gab - ich habe ihnen die Mücken gezeigt - Badezimmer total eklig. WC Wasserbehälter hat keinen Decken. es ist grausig das WC zu spülen. das Badezimmer riecht nach Urin. Kakerlake. - Aktivitäten werden vom Hotel überteuert angeboten - als ich mich beschwert habe, wurde mir am Abend um 10pm gesagt ich kann stornieren. dann bin ich doch geblieben (wir haben ausgemacht ich krieg ein anderes Bett). schliesslich habe ich 2 Nächte hier geschlafen und bezahlt, aber auf Booking wurde meine Bleibe storniert --> wird angeblich dann anders verrechnet. Stornokosten sind die vollen übernachtungskosten. - ich habe keine gute Hilfe für die Reiseplanung erhalten - Welligama ist voller agressiven Tuktuk-Fahrer, das Wasser ist dreckig. wenn man surfen will okey, sonst ...
