VIA VARANASI - A Boutique Hotel at Assi Ghat

Walking distance to Assi and tulsi ghats. Short drive to kashi vishwanath temple and other main ghats. Spacious bedroom and attached living room. Superb service from staff- very polite, professional and helpful. Great breakfast. Had my lunches and dinners there itself. Quick and convenient and food is great. Special thanks to Amardeep, Ashutosh, Indur and the manager at reception. You were all great.

Wet shower bathroom. I know they are common in India but I don’t like them though it was not too bad at this hotel

We really liked the location of the hotel, although many reviews talk about the noise, we didn't really face any issues. We stayed at the suite which was really nice, neatly organised and spacious enough for two of us due to the added seating area. The artwork at the hotel and in the room really added a lovely touch to the space. The staff was courteous and helpful. Overall, we really had a lovely stay at Via Varanasi. The location is perfect as it is easy to get to from the aiport, and close to Assi Ghat, and at the same time away from the chaos at the Dashaswamedh Ghat.

Although the bathroom was laid out well and had a good shower syetme etc. it lacked natural ventilation so was a bit damp and a bit musty. Maybe a stronger exhaust fan would help in taking away the dampness and musty smell. The rest was all good.

Too noisy. Need windows to be double glazed. No Aircon in living room.

Location was good. Amardeep and his colleagues were very sweet and helpful.

Hot water was inconsistent. Room service was not through the day. Cable service — most channels were not available. Did not have all the services that were advertised.
