About this cabin rental
TRULY UNIQUE mountain retreat on 30 private acres, atop Tatanka Ridge in Buffalo Pass. Professionally decorated mountain charm with stunning views in every direction. This property can be rented as 2 person main cabin with second log barn for guests or children, up to 8 people. Log Barn newly constructed in 2018, everything is brand new and professionally decorated from local designer. This is an incredible property for outdoor enthusiasts all four seasons. Located IN Rout National forest but just 4 miles down to center of Old Towns restaurants, shopping etc. Snowmobile, mountain bike, hike, or drive directly from the house up to endless trails in Buff Pass. So bring your toys and hiking boots, play all day and return to private luxury. Or just relax and absorb total peace on decks or fire-pit. Main cabin 1 bedroom 2 full baths, laundry, full kitchen and bar. Second guest barn is set up with 2 bedrooms, both with double queen bunks, 1 full bathroom with laundry, tv entertainment room and guest kitchen.
If your booking is for two people nobody else will be renting the guesthouse. If you have more than 2 people you automatically have both buildings.
The fee for the guesthouse is by the week per guest.

What an absolutely wonderful and amazing stay. Peaceful, tranquility in the mountains, yet still not more than a 15 minute drive into Steamboat. Just the right amount of rustic but complete with modern amenities and oozing with charm. It was so hard to leave.

Great property just north of Steamboat Springs. Peaceful space and a short drive to a wonderful mountain town with great music, food, weekly events, rodeo, hot springs, farmers market, hiking in every direction and great fishing too.Home is well equipped with everything you will need, especially if you are cooking meals. Beds are comfortable. Any needs will be met by the local property manager.

3 months of absolute bliss. Location is amazing for riding snow mobiles on Buff Pass. Close enough to town for convenience but far enough away for solitude and incredible star gazing.

Nice, private location out of town in the woods.
If you like wildlife—-
you’ll have a combination of deer, moose and bear wandering by.
If you REALLY like wildlife,—you may not enjoy the array of taxidermied dead animals on display.. Bear, elk, porcupine, raccoon, staring out from every wall.
You may also not enjoy the mice in the kitchen, or the bear who pushed open a screen door and ate a 10-lb bag of dogfood, which we (mostly ) found amusing.
But if you like solitude and a nice big view, it’s great.
