Quinta Vita - Vila Uva

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Carlos and his daughter were so welcoming. The Villa was on a private property and within this was our own private site. Lovely orange groves to walk around. Standard of accommodation was excellent. Beds comfortable, 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. Location was very close to Almancil centre but you do need a car or uber to get there. We will book again. Kika the dog was a big hit with us all.

WiFi was issue but we never asked so that was our problem really.

Communication with host before and during was exceptional. We were met at the property and showed around and given all relevant information, Carlos was very friendly and met all our needs during our stay. The Site was much better than we expected, the lake is actually a walk in pool/lagoon suitable for kids with a small lazy type river, sml kiddies size astro-pitch, pedal cars, sand play park and bar areas for socialising. Lots of character on the site most items look recycled, and cleverly used to decorate the area, or re purpose old traditional farm objects. Carlos and Estela exceeded our expectations, we hope we can return, and wish we had found it years ago when our children were younger as they would have loved it and it would have made our holidays to this area much better! That said for groups of adults its equally good, as there is a pool table, table tennis, volleyball and plenty of parking for groups. They hire out for children's parties and reception drinks etc, but it did not affect us in our private villa - we had out own private parking and gated garden. The farm has animals you can walk around and see and the farm dog - was a cute visitor some days.

There was nothing we did not like, except coming home, as we were made to feel so welcome and we were very relaxed we wish we could stay longer.

A vivenda superou as nossas expectativas: localização excelente, muito confortável e com uma limpeza irrepreensível. O espaço exterior e a piscina foram perfeitos para momentos de convívio e diversão, especialmente para as crianças. Destacamos também a amabilidade dos anfitriões, sempre disponíveis e atenciosos. Foi uma estadia muito agradável em família e com amigos, que certamente gostaríamos de repetir. O espaço envolvente da quinta é muito tranquilo e bem cuidado, ideal para descansar e aproveitar a natureza.

The swimming pool and garden were nice. The surrounding farm was picturesque.

The host failed to mention that he would be appearing unannounced at various points of our stay. This made us feel very uncomfortable especially when paying to have a private villa. Also household basics were missing such as cooking oil and washing up liquid.
