This is a great lodge in a beautiful park in an ideal location. The lodge (one of aprox 10-11 units) is ideally situated in the park, next to woodland with stream, with huge amount of area between lodges. Lovely views from lodge, either hills or woodland, ideal for relaxing in the evening. Hot tub made it a perfect location for relaxing. The Lodge is very well laid out, with comfortable furniture and really comfortable beds, which are very clean and tidy. The lodge was fully stocked with utensils and utilities. Cooker, dishwasher, Washing machine/dryer and smart TV. There were plenty of books and games to keep occupied, with mountain bikes as well. One of the best things about our stay was the hosts, Lynn and Eck, they could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. From the bottle of wine on arrival, to the erection of 'temporary gates' on the balcony (to keep our dogs in) within a few hours of seeing them teetered on leads on the balcony. When Hottub motor broke down and local maintenance unable to fix, Eck spent most of the day taking the motor/pump apart and getting it working again. A huge thank you to Lynn and Eck for being the perfect hosts. We would have absolutely no hesitation to recommending Wildcat lodge as a perfect place to stay in Scotland.
