Badly outdated chalet at a great location
Great location. Very comfortable beds. Quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The chalet interior is badly outdated and needs an upgrade to get it into the 21st century, Because of this, it doesn't feel very homely or comfortable, but rather like staying at your grandparents house who've never renovated it. Luckily the matresses on the beds were new and of great quality with crisp, clean bedding like you find in a good hotel. The kitchen is also new, but the rest of the house feels outmoded and stuffy. To make matters worse the central heating wasn't working during my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to fix the problem by sending repair men, but this didn't work. The heating would stop working every day. Since it's an old chalet, it's badly insulated. So it cooled down quickly in the evening and the house was cold in the morning. Luckily I had only one cold night. So the other nights were fine, but it's a hassle you don't want on your vacation.

Wir waren nur wenige Tage im Haus, uns hat es sofort gut gefallen; kleine Zimmer, gemütlich.
Älteres Haus mit vielen kleinen Schlafzimmern, Küche und Wohnzimmer ist ausreichend. Über 3 Etagen verteilt. Uns hat das Haus sehr gefallen. Einfach aber praktisch. Sicher nichts für Leute, welche grosse Zimmer gewohnt sind ;).
