Chalet O Amorzinho Sintra Praia

Oh my goodness. My husband and I have travelled alot but this gorgeous place exceeded our expectations! What a charming place overlooking the ocean with the rocky cliffs and waves crashing on the rocks to lull us to sleep! The staff was warm and friendly and the breakfast delicious. Everything was perfect! We will be back!

This is a quiet, private retreat right by the ocean, with stunning views (!!!) and well maintained inner yard. The small pool was refreshing, we had it almost entirely to ourselves most of the time, as the other guests were out exploring the surrounding area. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful place to recharge after spending time in a busy city. Within walking distance, you can reach Praia das Azenhas do Mar, a beautiful beach that is much less crowded than many others. That said, the property itself is so relaxing that it’s easy to spend the whole day there without feeling the need to leave. A delicious homemade breakfast is served every morning, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. For dinner, there’s an excellent restaurant nearby called Na Mouche, and a minimarket is also just a short walk away.

Overall, the property is very clean: towels, bed linen, and cupboards were clean. The only issue was the wooden floor, which always seemed to have a bit of sand on it (and also some almost broken places that needs repair) It may simply be difficult to keep perfectly clean, but we preferred wearing flip-flops indoors rather than walking barefoot, even at the very beginning upon arrival. One thing future guests should know is that walking outside the property to the beach, restaurants, or the minimarket can feel stressful. The road is very narrow, with little to no sidewalk, and cars pass very close by. This isn’t the property’s fault, but it’s worth keeping in mind, especially if you’re traveling with young children. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would highly recommend this place for its peaceful atmosphere (no car sounds if you overlooking ocean), beautiful setting, and thoughtful attention to detail.

Staff super friendly, it is the second time we go there. View is amazing and the homemade cakes are super good 😃.

Some small things on the room specially the bathroom need to be changed, it is next to the ocean so it deteriorates fast.
