Location is good. A lot of restaurants around. Close to the markets.

Staff/management doesn't respond. I had to go to the reception to call them to fix my issues. Initially, there were no tv, no wifi, washing machine was not working. Good thing was they moved us to different room. No microwave, no bath mat provided.

The location is very nice. It was our first time in this new place. Safe to walk around even at night time like going for a walk a jog to the park. We saw people still playing in the park and exercising even at 8pm. We can see police motorbikes and security guards. Many restaurants to choose from. However no big shopping Centre's yet in this place. The unit is very spacious with a room and a lounge room with a sofa, and a bed/sofa as well. The internet is very fast and easy to connect.

This place in Mactan is new that is why they called it New Town. The advertisement did not say what building are we staying. There are few buildings but only 1 street number. I called few times the contact number on the advertisement, but no body answers the phone. The person in charge said that the owner does not answer calls. The place is not maintained properly. The tap, the kettle, the microwave and the rice cooker are dirty. And on the advertisement, it says that in the apartment there is an electric iron, towels and safe box and also it says soundproof (not true because we can hear people talking outside and even, we are at the 6th floor we can still hear the crows and some other noise from the neighbors). However, when we arrived, no towels, (asked the person in charged, she said that the owner did not buy new ones, and also with the electric iron, she said it was destroyed by the previous occupants, and the owner did not buy a new one). The kettle boils however you need to stop it manually and if you leave the water in the kettle for few minutes after boiling the kettle will leak. The following day my husband and I were planning to have a shower but there was no hot water, and the water comes out is not much and there was leaking at the bottom so a technician was sent to inspect but the technician said there is a big problem with the unit with the pipe and stuff. Thankfully we had a hot water but not much coming out and sometimes it will disappear and we just bear with it because we only stayed there for 3 days. And the unsafe part was that the shower has a shower curtain hanging on a rod, unfortunately when my husband wanted to have a shower on our 2nd day the curtain rod fell on him, luckily not on his head. The rod was not screwed on the wall it was just only stick to the wall, my husband and I tried to put it back, but we could not and when we have our shower the water goes everywhere. The person in charged was also informed about this.
