The location is very central with easy access to the city centre, supermarket, restaurants etc. The apartment was very comfortable overall, clean,lots of fresh towels, fans in living room and bedroom, all the amenities in kitchen.
As an older couple we found the 61 steps of stairs a strain the apartment doesn't have a lift. The sofa bed is too short for an adult to sleep comfortably. Some extra sheets for the sofa bed also needed. TV difficult to operate.

The apartment is conveniently located right in the old town center of Funchal. Everything is in the walking distance" shops, restaurant, the market, parks, the port, etc. The communication with the host was easy and I also appreciate that we could check-in early. We would definitely return. Thank You.
3rd floor, no lift but not such a big deal.

Localização, vista, decoração, bem equipado, limpo.
Não ter elevador. Zona com estacionamento pago excepto das 20h às 08h e aos domingos.

Eine geräumige, moderne Ferienwohnung im Zentrum von Funchal. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten, der Ozean und der Busbahnhof sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Geld für einen Mietwagen kann man sich sparen. Vier Balkons bieten einen interessanten Ausblick auf das Leben in der Stadt. Nachts ist es etwas laut, da man mitten im Geschehen ist. Doch Ruhe haben wir nicht gesucht. Um Madeira zu erleben, ist das Appartement ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Danke für die schöne Zeit.
