Superb base, right in the heart of Funchal and close to so many things to see do (and eat!). Very minimal, cool and clean - excellent ac and lived the balcony.
Nothing at all. Just as others have said the steps up are old and there are a couple of little business dispatches here and there but once inside - wow!

Central to Funchal and within walking distance to cable cars, harbour, market and square. Really clean and comfortable. Comfy beds and air con. Liked that the basics are provided so you can quickly settle in. Close to supermarket for provisions. Great to have the two bathrooms as stayed with two friends. Each provided with a set of keys.

Central location just on the outskirts of the City and Old Town area. Apartment was well looked after, clean, spacious and very comfortable. All essential items were provided. Great communication and nothing was too much trouble. Air conditioning.
Everything was good for us. No lift to apartment that was on 3rd floor but we were notified well in advance so we could make an informed decision if the property was suitable for us.
