Good hotel.

Centrally located in the town of Scheidegg and within easy walking of several restaurants and supermarkets. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and beds comfortable. Breakfast is good and at €10, good value. Staff are friendly. Parking is plentiful but not secure.

Payment was a bit fraught as the owner insisted that we had to pay the whole bill all together in either cash or card. We wanted to pay by room as we were 2 couples and a twin shared room. It meant scrabbling around for cash and a visit to a cashpoint. On a 2 week trip, it was the only accommodation that we had this problem as others were happy to accept payment per room.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das Inhaberpaar ist einfach klasse. Dieses Hotel wird mit Liebe geführt und das merkt man deutlich.

In meinem Zimmer gab es keine Nachttischlampe, aber die Kritik wurde angenommen.

Musste etwas warten, bis wir jemand erreicht haben im Hotel zum Checkin, war leider ein Ausfall der Telefonanlage an dem Tag, aber nicht schlimm.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Beim Frühstück wurde auf die Belange von Personen, die glutenfrei essen müssen, sehr gut Rücksicht genommen, das Brot war auf einem räumlich getrennten Buffet angerichtet. Das Ehepaar Holzhauer kümmert sich sehr fürsorglich um die Gäste, unsere verspätete Anreise wurde problemlos gehandhabt.

Das Bad in unserem Zimmer 204 war etwas eng. Bei Benutzung der Toilette kann die Tür nicht geöffnet werden.

Ein sehr netter älterer Herr ..das Einzelzimmer war ausreichend groß und die Dusche und Toilette waren neuwertig .Frühstück war ausreichend,Mann konnte sich Eier bestellen,die frisch zubereitet wurden.
