About this chalet rental
This modern 3 bed 2 bathroom holiday lodge is sited on a tasteful small development within the hamlet of Soar. Situated above Soar Mill Cove it has uninterrupted views of NT land and a view to the sea. Soar Mill Cove is a 15-20 min walk with its un spoilt beach surrounded by Cliffs & Rock Pools. There are stunning coastal and country walks with easy access to hidden beaches and coves. Salcombe & Hope Cove are within 3 miles via cliff top walks. There is a large diversity of wild life including Buzzards, Kestrels, Gannets and the occasional Red Deer. Hope Cove, Malborough and Bantham have excellent pubs / restaurants. Salcombe is a centre for sailing, fishing, Scuba diving and shopping. From Salcombe there are foot passenger ferries across the estuary to South Sands and to Kingsbridge. South Hams also includes the towns of: Totnes, Modbury, and Dartmouth which are well worth a visit. The area also boasts 2 Heritage Steam Railways and 3 Golf Clubs.

The lodge was perfect for us (5 in total). It was very well furnished (very comfortable beds and settee) and the kitchen had all the utensils needed. The owner was very quick to answer our messages. The lodge is very well positioned to go onto the coast path east and west - only 10 or 15 mins walk to it on lanes that are limited to 20 or 30 mph.
The lodge is also only 15 mins drive to Salcombe, with an easy long stay car park. The owner recommended the Salcombe crab fest, which was a great day out. All in all a great stay

Beautiful location and lodge. Couldn't have been better & we were all sad to leave! Thank you for the bottle of wine on arrival. Such a lovely, warm, home from home. We will definitely be returning.

Ideal for our needs. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the nice touch of a bottle of wine left for our use.

This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy peace, quiet and a sea view. The site was well laid out and about 10 minutes drive to Salcombe. The lodge was very well-equipped, spacious and comfortable, with the benefit of a balcony facing the sea. The host was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and the accessibility to several beautiful places in the wider area which offer plenty to do and see.
