Hotell med lite lyxigare design och väl tillvaratagna gamla byggnader. Varsamt renoverade i gammal stil. Restaurangen i intilliggande byggnad var mycket bra. Lugn miljö ute på landet. Lite konstnärsprofil med utställning .
Vägen sista kilometern fram till hotellet var helt sönderkörd grusväg. Under all kritik. Skogarna runt hotellet ovårdade och oframkomliga utom på stigar. Grusplan på parkeringarna och framför receptionen tog ner upplevelsen. Parkeringarna var otillräckliga.

Kleine knusse kamer met bad, goede verduisterende gordijnen. Koffiemachine op kamer, maar geen ijskastje. Hotel zelf is mooi en heeft veel leuke hoekjes (Dierenverblijven, kunstgalerij, collectie koetsen,...) Basic ontbijt, ontbijtzaal was minder gezellig.
Dure betaalparking, 245 NOK per dag, zeer overbodig, aangezien het een stuk braakliggende grond is naast het hotel. Dit zou gratis moeten zijn voor gasten. Ook voor het Havlyst park moet je bijbetalen, 245 NOK per persoon (als niet-gast zelfs 345 NOK). Het is een mooie tuin, maar zelfs met de korting de prijs niet echt waard. Prijs/kwaliteit klopt dit hotel niet helemaal, daarvoor mag de service nog wat beter. We kregen vb weinig uitleg bij check-in, ook niet wanneer we vragen stelden over het omliggende park.

Beliggenheten med gangstier fra hotellet. Nydelig håndverk i bygningene.
At haven ikke var tilgjengelig for hotellets gjester uten å betale ekstra. Frokosten sto ikke til forventningene.
