About this apartment rental

Tucked away in a rural hamlet near the village of St Quentin les Chardonnets, La Cidreraie forms part of a traditional old farmhouse, which nestles in the heart of the leafy, ‘bocage’ countryside that so typical of Lower Normandy.
La Cidreraie has a downstairs living are with cooking facilities, dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. Wi-Fi is available but please note that there is NOT A TELEVISION in the accommodation
Upstairs the mezzanine bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower / toilet.
This gite overlooks a pleasant garden with fruit trees and flowers where you can relax and listen to the sound of birds singing.
The quaint little town of Tinchebray is just 5 kms away and the bustling market towns of Vire and Flers are within easy reach. There are pleasant walks right on our doorstep and opportunities for fishing, horse riding, kayaking and other leisure activities available locally. For the children there are waterfalls to picnic by, lakes with paddle boats and several zoos are a short drive away.
Of course a holiday is not a holiday without a trip to the seaside and lovely sandy beaches can be reached in a little over an hour.
You are within easy reach of destinations such as Mont Saint Michel, the D-Day Beaches and Bayeux.

This beautiful area of France really does have something to please everyone. Don’t forget to sample the local specialities; cheese, cider, calvados and biscuits are all produced nearby!
