Golf: Northern Cyprus now has a very well designed new golf course 20 minutes from the Penthouse. They have a very luxurious club house and you can see new Esenteppe Golf Course by looking for esenteppegolfcourse in your search engine
There is good inexpensive skiing on the Troodos Mountains which are 2 hours drive away. There are 3 lifts with short runs and one with longer runs and a wider variety. for conditions check the skicyprus website
It is not enough for a ski holiday but a great way of getting two or three days skiing in between December and April

The place was comfortable and clean. Nice location but advisable to rent a car. The unit was on the top floor, lots of stairs.

A very well equipped penthouse with a great view. We liked the swimming pool. An excellent host, that really helped us with great tips. We liked the city of Kyrenia, but also our trip to the Karpassia peninsula was great (do bring some food for the wild donkeys blocking the road) and our trips to Salamis, Famagusta and Bellapais.

Good, clean and spacious apartment and a great balcony with a view of the working harbour and the sea. I found it quite quiet and comfortable, air con was good. The swimming pool is well maintained and remained empty during my stay. Muzo the local rep was excellent with information on where to go and rented me a jeep. The harbour with multiple restaurants and bars is just 10 minutes walk away.
There is a bit of a rubbish-strewn wasteland directly in front but it didn't really detract from my stay.
