About this apartment rental

Welcome to Upper Room Flat - 23 Boulevard

Second story cottage with queen-sized bedroom and upstairs sleeping loft. Comfortable and cozy! Newly Remodeled.

The stylish one-bedroom carriage house offers 700 sq. ft. of quintessential comfort and coziness. It comprises a master bedroom with a queen bed, loft accessed up a climbing ladder with two twin beds, efficiency kitchen with hot plates and convection microwave.

There is a screened in balcony with oversized deck. Outdoor dining table for 6 and outdoor lounge area to seat 8. The Upper Room has a grill under carport for guest use. Inside dining table seats 4 and couch and 2 chairs is enough for 6 people to sit comfortably. The screened in porch allows the french doors to be open for a nice breeze- enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine in this great space!

NOTE- Upper Room is a Garage Apartment located on 23 Boulevard. The home on the property is a seperate Vacation Home. Upper Room has one designated parking- parallel park by the garage door. All additional vehicles can be parked in the public parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (Sleeps 6):

- Living area: Queen-sized sleeper sofa

Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. Overall, we had a great stay and felt the home was accurately represented in the listing. The biggest surprise (in the best way) was how incredibly well-stocked the kitchen was. It had just about everything you could need, and had I known there was a crockpot, I definitely would have packed and meal-planned differently! The “microwave” is a convection oven, btw. The outdoor patios were another highlight. The extra living space outside made a big difference, especially traveling with a small child.My only hesitation is the loft and ladder. If you’re traveling with young kids, know that the ladder is very steep and felt unsafe for our family. We ended up having our son sleep in the downstairs bedroom while one parent took the sleeper sofa instead of using the loft. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something I wish I thought about ahead of time as our kids do have a tendency to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.Overall, we felt the home was a fair value for Carlton Landing, enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely consider booking it again.

The place was bigger than we expected, very well stocked. Loved the patio space and spent most of our time outside. Kids loved the loft and found it fun! Our kids are 5-12 years old.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lovely cottage for a small family but needs some maintenance and tlc. Our daughter did love the loft room.
