About this house rental
Gated property with spacious front and backyards. Fenced for children and pets. Sandy bottom waterfront perfect for swimming. Shallow enough for kids to touch! Perfect setting for a vacation retreat with family and friends. This home has a Blackstone propane grill , fire pit off patio and large double deck boat dock great for watching sunrise or sunsets. Dock has stairs for water access. 5 bedroom 4-1/2 bath house. 2 master bedrooms. Lower master with king bed and upper master with queen bed. Both have walk out decks. 1 lower level guest room with queen bed. 1 lower level bedroom with twin over full bunk beds. 1 upper bedroom with twin bunk bed and trundle. Upstairs living room with sleeper sofa, daybed and trundle. Sleeps 12. Open floorplan with spacious kitchen, large island. Wall of windows with perfect view of the lake. Great outdoor living space with both sun or shaded areas to enjoy the lake view day and night. Use of private pier for your boat or jet ski. Several boat launch ramps close by and we have plenty of parking for your trailer. We are sure you will enjoy your time here and look forward to having you!

It’s a great place for families with kids to have fun. The direct access to the beach and the deck was a big plus. There were lots of board games for everyone to enjoy. The warm weather made it easy for us to spend plenty of time outdoors.

We were 3 adult couples, 60s and 70s, staying 4 nights for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. The property is nice. It was clean inside and reasonably supplied. This home for our 3 adult couples, without children, worked well for our stay. We did buy some supplies normally found in Vrbo homes. There were no glass water or wine glasses; actually no glass glasses at all, none. Trying to enjoy Prosecco toasting after the eclipse from plastic cups was disappointing.
There were a number of reasons for down grading the review. One of the reasons was the lack of honest advertising on Vrbo. Vrbo owners are required to list amenities that they freely provide for guests to use and enjoy.

Hot Tub - There is no Hot Tub. You have to go back 5 years to find a 2019 review that has a comment about a Hot Tub at the property.
Fireplace - One bedroom has a small, in wall, electronic fireplace with no switch or remote for guests to use it.
Washer - The Washer and Dryer were in a double closet with a bicycle lock across the double door handles to keep guests from using the appliances.
Dryer - See Washer comment above.
The outdoor furniture pictured on the Vrbo listing does not exist.
One of our couples are runners. They had planned on being able to use the washer and dryer.
Maybe we were the first rental of the season but the outdoor furniture, deck chairs, Adirondacks, lounges, etc. were dirty. We had to clean it all.
